I'm from Nice but studying in another city in France and watching this makes me miss Nice soooo much (when I was there one week ago). :(
You definitely went to best place for socca. They are other places but René Socca is the most famous famous and for me they have the most delicious one. We Always go there with my family and I've never been to another place. But because it is really famous they are a lot of people and in order to not wait to long you need to go early. It's a pity you did'nt try their farcis (stuffed vegetables with meat) and beignet because they are really good there ! :)
And for Monaco just for the people in the comment who don't know Monaco let me explain a few things. Monaco is independent from France and there is a royal family just like in the UK. Monaco is quite expensive that's why you see a lot of people with nice cars but they are a lot of foreigners as well who come to spend their holidays there all year around. Not everyone has a yatch as not everyone has a lot of money. Most people do but not everyone working in Monaco is rich. Most of the people working in Monaco actually don't live in Monaco because it's too expensive. And of course some appartments cost a lot of money. But the French Riviera is one of the most expensive area for appartments after Paris.
It's a pity that your stay was so short because they are a lot more things to do in the South and next time you travel to Nice you should definitely try Pissaladière and Pan Bagnat (seems like you loved the bread so I'm sure you will enjoy it) ! :D

I love your travel vlogs! Makes me so jealous, but I’ll get to these places eventually. The way you say Monaco is so cute.
When you had the Aperol Spritz I cringed so much-I had one in Austria last spring and couldn’t finish it because it tasted awful to me. I really don’t get the appeal of it. The Hugo Spritz is 100x better. If you can find it on a menu somewhere you need to try it; it’s basically prosecco, elderflower syrup, mint, and sparkling water. Some places also put lime in there, which makes it even better.
I’m French and this vlog was beyond beautiful! I’m also discovering this pretty places, I wish I could go there too 😭
