    Well, as a dog groomer from New Jersey, I can say the shear scale of the work, equipment, and what you do there continues to baffle me. It's s o hard for me to wrap my little fur covered brain around. I'm so impressed, from what I can tell, with very little direction on your part, all of the guys seem to know exactly what to do, when to do it, and where to be when needed.

    I would have to agree with you Mike, I liked filling last thing, then greasing as everything was warm and I always thought grease would spread easier.
    But you start clean the next day, that really was the bonus, 😆😁☀️

    I worked at a small grain mill, and we used small conveyors, 10 to 20 feet long, to move corn and soybean bags. Those conveyors were HEAVY. It boggles my mind how these huge conveyors stay attached to this cart, carrying a full belt of product, and through all the wear and tear. I know it's all heavy duty, the mounts and all, but geez.

    Mike, someone was really thinking with all the strategically placed lights on the air drill cart! Lighted buttons on the remote would be helpful. It was and has been cool here in northern Iowa also. You all take care.

    Morning Mike, did you get some much needed rain this wk end? Sure hope you did!! We got a enough to stop us Sat morning due to tough durum straw. We don’t work Sundays, and of course yesterday was beautiful. 😂😂
    You guys must be nearing the finish line.
    We are 23% complete .... right on schedule.

      @@notsofancyfarming For sure it is. But I was out here in-the 80’s and a barley crop in the South SK was yielding 4 bushels per acre. Some farmers just don’t plant if the moisture level is too low. May only plant half or where there is moisture
      I am wondering when Mike is going to shut it down

    Mike: you might want to use a break away lanyard on the remote, and then around your neck. Some day you will drop the remote into a tank. Make sure it's a break away though, in case it gets caught on something. Just a suggestion.

    Use a forehead mounted LED light , hands free so you can see things better at night for those hard to get at locations, including that little hand held control device on your seeder.

    Have you ever dropped the remote into the hopper? Or is it tied to your wrist? We have similar remotes for the big cranes at the machineshop where I work, and people regularly drop that puppy into the coolant tanks on some of the machines 😁

    PLS make a video about seeding canola I am a little confused could you put fert in the entire cart and just a few bushels of seed in that small tank?

      You only seed canola at 4-pounds an acres instead of the 120 pound an acre when seeding wheat..... so basically you need less space for seed and can therefore push more fertilizer if you choose to do so

    Is that the largest cart or is there a larger one .. ? Thank you I hope your seeding goes well . If it's 2 miles long how wide is it ? I can't figure that out fast enough. Thanks for the great & informative video .. How long will it take you to seed the field ?

      Bourgault's 71300 bu or the newer 91300 ( same volume ) are the largest at the moment you can buy, there was a Vaderstad 1300 but I don't see it anymore. Maybe there are farmers who build larger carts but never seen one, only larger toolbars/drills with smaller carts.

    I would have thought with a cart that big you could go farther then 180 acres. We do 150 acres with a 430 bu cart.

    Hi Mike, Greetings from Hamburg! I´wondering every time: How du you find your Fields? Without Navi! Every field looks like te other, all rectangle, no tree, no house, nothing to detect the right one... it´s much easyer here in Germany! Sorry for my Englisch. ;-)

      Air Seeders larger then 750 bu - 800 bu or (mostly) tow behind for various reasons, this one is 1300 bu ( + 40 bu saddle tank ).

      No they're came standard with lights and camera..

    Mike i have a question... Only 180 acres from a full cart - 10 refills for that one field?! Wow. With an 80ft planter how many hours does it take to empty it? The refilling guys must struggle to keep up...
