Peaky, excellent production on your channel, loved getting away from Coleraine and Derry City, what a match, unrivaled atmosphere and excitement, lovely pre-match interviews and a terrific evening’s action filmed and shared, so thank you. I knew I’d been to Oriel Park years ago, so I challenged myself to recall which match! A prolonged trawl through match day programs brought the result! Dundalk v Glasgow Celtic 31 July 1984, an era when cross-channel clubs really did bring their best elevens for pre-season friendlies, Bonner, Aitken, McAdam, McGrain, McStay, Grant, MacLeod, Provan, Burns, McGarvey, McClair et al. I actually remember hundreds of fans sitting on top of the roof of the Shed Stand. I’d love to go back to Oriel after forty years! Gabe
Its the worst ground in the loi bar Finn Harp's and Cobh's. But the ppl in Dundalk I have found to be prob the friendliest in the league... unless your a Dub! 😂
Aye, it was opposite side of pitch, looked like he had decapitated the boy, O’Donnell says it wasn’t a red and it was beside him. Haven’t seen it back.
Good win for Derry last night. Swifts were unlucky today. And my local team where I now live (Huddersfield) banged 4 past your arch rivals Middlesbrough to us a glimmer of hope in a relegation scrap. I wonder if all teams in LOI get fined for flares like Derry have been already this season. Great vlog again
The pyro only in that area tbf. Everyone in there is prepared for it. Oddly enough I haven’t had Oisín in a pyro area. Not cause I keep him away, more so he hasn’t been when I’ve been at the games with them.
@@xXSRFCxHOOPSXx all about money. Over in England there are grants the whole way down the football pyramid. Over here we depend on government/council handouts.
Would love to, financially I can barely afford to go anywhere at the minute. Hopefully will be able to see it through to the other side and get over. Love what’s happening there. Hopefully promotion beckons. Will go to the wire.
loved the vid mate. a melted coat lol things you think you will never hear at a match lol. were rovers that good, dundalk that bad or was it really just the red that killed them. ya might need an oxygen tank after inhaling that amount of smoke lol...

Thanks for the upload. Dundalk got lovely support. X And fair play to the Dubliners under the rain. X
Excellent Peaky!
Cmon da town 🖤🤍
9:25 the red cap guy chanting 😂and 9:26
Love your videos Niall
Brilliant, Peaky. More of the same please!
Excellent video, thanks
Rovers 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 Nice video man
Most games are sell outs in LOI now. Going through a growth spirt. Good rovers away support TBF. Makes a way better game when away fans
Great video.
That away end down there's rough.
Was over in it last year, was a lovely evening right enough.

An eary red card is such a mood killer….
Great vid as always btw!

2:13 what happened with them young lads and steward right there

I’d imagine they would get fined but different clubs apparently budget for it. Sounds mad 😂
Great video and informative
It’s not a game you would take your grandson to watch especially with pyros he would not feel safe

Great video from a rovers fan
Cheers pal
Umbrella limbs 14:17 🤣
Also a steward hitting the deck after a fan came over the fence 😂
Can confirm if you where on the other side of Chernobyl like I was you would have been soaked
Weather has horrible, I left the shed at half time and doubled back. In Ireland stands really do need roofs
@@ThePeakys absolutely oriel is the worst away in the league the fai need to do better and put pressure on clubs to build in closed stands
@@xXSRFCxHOOPSXx all about money. Over in England there are grants the whole way down the football pyramid. Over here we depend on government/council handouts.
Worst stadium in Ireland . Really needs to be sorted out by the owners/ the local council and the football club
I dunno about the worst, it’s not great though. It has a bit of nostalgia about it. Needs major overhaul.
@@ThePeakys i was in it over 40 years ago and its worse now than it was then
6:40 scenes🖤🤍5:33
How could you breath with all the pyros lol
It’s grand, the bigger issue is sparks coming from the smokes. Burnt my Gillet and jumper.
You should go see a Wrexham game

Would u let ur son bring pyro to a match?
When he is older and if he was responsible enough.
Predictions were a bit off…🤣🤣
Just a bit, red card changed the game.
Yeah, Robbie benson is a key player
@@VTtazza was it a red. Haven’t seen it back yet.
Must go watch the highlights
@@ThePeakys well it was a high boot, his intent was the ball though. I would’ve thought yellow.

Red card killed the game. Love the pyro but those smokes shouldn’t be waved around. Like being beside a volcano 🤣
@@ThePeakys yeah especially in a confined space like that. imagine letting them off in the away end at larne
What's going on rite no to all me Irish mandems and pushy gyaldems x
