My 1000 Blade has now 350 miles on the engine had the first oil change at 150 miles all oils changed by supplying dealer no issues to date. In general well pleased runs well build would not be as good as Can-Am but my my requirements its fine.Would say this is one of the best quad for road use diffs work well very quite running compared to my Renegade 1000 .Would say value for money.
Got the new Euro 4 1000 TGB Blade today looks good had a short 20 mile run out bike handles well on the open road when the diffs are open cornering well much easier to ride than the Renegade 1000.Speed limiter removed. Will ride tomorrow would like to have the first service done in the next week.
David have ordered the TGB 1000 Euro 4 silver with power steering it will be delivered on the 30th Thursday I understand the speed restriction is part of the throttle and it is easy to removed thank you for your prompt reply will comment on the bike next .weekend.
Had a run out on the Blade this morning110 mile on the engine finding the bike a bit soft on the front much different from the Renegade. This bike will need a bit of sorting to get the handling right.????
David is this a 1000 deluxe pre Euro 4 model I have a Renegade 1000 but am thinking of purchasing a TGB as the read open diff will suit may riding which is mainly open small country roads how do you rate the TGB.
the renegade is ok but i had 570pro and the wiring burned out.the tgb is a lot better than people think and a lot of thought has gone into its design. air intake cvt intake are all good rear diff is good.power steering is good going slow but is a bit stiff going fast but it is very stable up to 75mph. no banging clanking or wierd diff or gearbox noises. for the price it puts others to shame and i have had most makes of quad.
tgb lockable rear diff works great.new legislation means all new quads registered plg will have to have open rear diffs. canam does not and most new ones are registered t3 tractor.

tgb make the cvt pulleys for canam they are stamped rotax/tgb.

Does this have open rear diff
the diff is open and lockable
David is the bike engine power or speed restricted and if so can it be removed now we have Euro 4 spec bikes now.
it is not restricted in any way, tgb state 83hp (off road use only)!!!!!!!!!
the new plastic rack model i think may be restricted becuase there is a plate on the frame stating max mph.
the plate says 90kph which is around 55mph so check with dealer!!!!!!!!!!!!
