Thank you for the pattern. It was very easy to follow for a newbie like me. I made two leaves. One as per the pattern, another one as per the pattern in the opposite direction. It came out perfect.

To make leaf smaller, I shortened initial chain and eliminated treble crochet stitches. I made height increases and decreased as follows:
Height increase: of SC, HDC, DC (multiples of DC in center for width of leaf);
Height decreases: DC HDC, SC.
Turned out great!
