    Hey Michael,
    Appreciate what you are doing for the community - keep it up 👏🏼
    Do you know how to distinguish between the Beosound 2 MK2 without GVA and Beosound 2 MK1?

    • @Mikipedia
      @Mikipedia  Před 4 lety +2

      thank you! Of the top of my head, serial number, the sound aas the mk2 sounds different. but mostly I think iam correct in saying that the top cap, with the touch buttons, stays the same on the mk2. the mk1 doesn't have those buttons at all, the might not light up on the non gva mk2(i don't know for sure) but you should be able to see them a little. Also setup is diifferent, I think with the mk2 regardless of having gva or not, you'll be prompted to go through the google home app, again not 100% sure on that one. Hope that helps?

    Hi Mikipedia! Have you ever been to other B&O stores? It is interesting for me to see how the store in Utrecht looks compared to the ones in Breda, Den Bosch or Eindhoven

      Hi Maarten, yes I've been to many other stores before, all over really and not just in NL I try to also find a local shop when I go on vacation :p It just so happens that I haven't been to those 3 stores, although B&O Den Bosch looks like it could be the HQ for the country. Very interesting looking!

    Have you connected two beosound for the stereo pairing? If so, does it make a huge difference?

    • @Mikipedia
      @Mikipedia  Před 4 lety +1

      To be very clear up front, you can only pair the same kind of speakers in a stereo pair. So only A1 with A1, or Beosound 1 with Beosound 1 etc etc.
      It does make a difference for sure, but it really depends as to how much. Any of the mono speakers will instantly take advantage of being stereo and the smaller speaker will get a bigger performance bump (like A1, P6 etc) compared to a BS1 or BS2. However you will always obviously get more sound and it will be a good improvement. The thing is that they still don't compete with beolab's/stereo speakers but it does come close for the money. Depending on what you want out of it I would tell you to save for stereo speakers, but I don't really know what your ultimate goal is. What would you like out of it when doing this?

    Hey Mike! toffe video's! vraagje, ik denk erover om een stereopaar B&O speakers te kopen, ik ben helemaal weg van het design van de Beosound 2. Zijn deze als stereopaar te koppelen en aan te sturen vanuit airplay? en hoe reageren de speakers op elkaar wanneer deze als stereopaar zijn geconfigureerd? Many thanks!! ik geniet ondertussen nog even verder van je video's ;-)

    • @Mikipedia
      @Mikipedia  Před 3 lety +2

      Thanks! Nee ze zijn alleen via google/chromecast als stereo te paren, en ik weet niet of ze dan reageren als stereo paar via airplay. De Beosound 2 is meer als single point speaker bedoeld die ook andere dingen kan doen, dus het kan wel maar werking is niet 100% gegarandeerd. Het zou eventueel via een kabel kunnen van Steve, maar dan heb je wel een source nodig. Het is waarschijnlijk makkelijker om naar tweede hands/nieuwe speakers te kijken ivm dat die er wel voor zijn gemaakt.

    Hello guys I have problems to choose between the Beosound 2 and balance. I usually like to hear classical music. Which would you recommend? Thanks for the answers.

    • @Mikipedia
      @Mikipedia  Před 4 lety +2

      In that case it really comes down to how loud you like to listen to music and how big the room is ( and possibly if you have other B&O equipment). If the styling is the same to you then the Balance will always be the better choice. But if you have a load of other, older, B&O stuff then the Beosound 2 is easier to integrate. Basically what is it come down too is that the Balance is better at music and more powerful but the Beosound 2 is more typical in B&O style while still being powerful enough for most people. It's a hard choice, but both are very good! Hope that helps?

    • @mala2877

      @@Mikipedia Thank you! I have 2 Beolit 17 ( I love Them) and 2 Beosund 2 But I was thinking on getting the Beosund 1 for the design. So do you think the Beosound 1 plays as loud as the Beolit 17? I'm like you, I don't really need more speakers but I'm a big B&O fan. Right now my current setup is: BL5, BS CORE connected to a Cambridge DAC and a SONY hi res player all connected via Toslink. Next step (next year) thew BL 50 or BL90.

      They basically play equally as loud yes, but if you want loud there are other options too :p 50's or 90's will be a big step up from 5's and very expensive, make sure you demo them well and know you like the sound of them! They're basically giant reference speakers, so they don't have that huge bass boost like the 5's have :)

Acuérdate antes de apagarlos los altavoces tiene q ir a la aplicación y desemparejarlos muy importante , y sobretodo los dos altavoces siempre tenerlos a la última actualización a sin nunca fallan .
