    Its all pretty much a freeway nowadays. Still a few rough bits but a vast improvement to what it was.

    Gotta love a trip to the Cape, looks like you all had a great time. You’ve done well for your first upload, our Cape trip upload was pre GoPro and terrible.

    Enjoyed your video... I've seen you guys swimming in creeks. How do you know if there are no crocs?
    I'm planning bamaga to Cape York at some point in winter of 2022

    Hey guys! Thanks for the video. May I ask what size your van is? How many feet long?

  • @exploringwiththepages3313

    Hey guys very much enjoyed watching your video thank you. 🤙👌
    Planning for the Cape next year and was wondering if you could accomplish from the station to fruit bat and back in a day if you had a good run?
    Thank you in advance. 👌👍🍺

      It is possible but depending how early you want to get going in the morning. We left Bramwell Station at around 7:30am and rolled into camp at Cockatoo Creek around 4pm we had a good run and made minimal stops. It was probably another hour from Cockatoo Creek to Fruit bat falls then another 2 hours back to Bramwell on the Bypass Road. If you do the Southern Section of the track and back to Bramwell in 1 day you can always skip Fruitbat falls and visit it on the way up to the tip. It is only about 10 min off the main road.

    What happened to your caravan? Did you drop it off?

    • @jahlicoadventures8362
      @jahlicoadventures8362  Před 3 lety

      We took it all the way to the top. We left it a Bramwell station while we did the Telegraph Track but came back to get it and took it up the bypass road.

      Is there much to see in the OTT? Taking a camper and was think of doing the same as you did. But if its mainly just to test out your 4wding I might give it a miss

    • @jahlicoadventures8362
      @jahlicoadventures8362  Před 3 lety +2

      Yeah we found the Tele Track is really just the experience of driving it. A lot of it was pretty boring but the creek crossings are fun. The main sights to see on the track are Fruit Bat and Elliot falls and they can be accessed easily from the bypass road.

      @@jahlicoadventures8362 Hi, great video guys. We are in the process of planning a trip to Cape York for next year. Can you tell me did you leave the caravan at Bramwell Station or Bramwell Roadhouse ? Also at what point did you leave the Telegraph Track to return back to pick up your caravan ? Thanks Dave.

    • @Ballzac2
      @Ballzac2 Před 3 lety

      @@chervil20 We left the Van at Bramwell Station. He let's you leave it for free for as long as you like as long as you stay a couple of nights.
      The OTT crosses the bypass road just south of Fruitbat falls so that's when we headed back. If you do the full Telegraph track you can cut back to the bypass up near the ferry.
