- The Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has disclosed that he has not taken any salary from the state since assuming office as governor two years ago.
He said that his wife does not have an official car as the first lady of Anambra State but still drives his personal cars.
The governor said this during the celebration of two years anniversary of his administration at the International Convention Center, Awka, the state capital on Sunday.

Your Excellency Sir ,From your speech we understand that it will take you 3 years to facilitate the design, construction and to commission a natural gas fired plant in Anambra State.
You have 2 more years to show Ndi Anambra at least 70% of the completed project. Given the lack of clarity regarding your plans for electricity, I must commend your efforts on the roads, although they appear to be substandard. There is a noticeable absence of discussion,plans,or strategies regarding agriculture for Ndi Anambra, There is hunger among the poor people that you tend to give priority without any provisions for their food security and welfare.
Distribution of coconut and palm seedlings to individuals without record is a poor policy . Most people collect these seedlings and sell them. As i write ,some of those seedlings distributed to some privileged individuals last year have not been planted , some have allowed those seedlings to die. Planting them in a selected areas like farm settlements, public schools, churches ,hospitals etc with responsible people should be the best policy

We need a public widely televised question and answer session to fact check a lot of claims. There definitely has been some effort with roads, but over 200 kilometers so far completed seems to be an exaggeration. He also needs to answer questions regarding the criteria being used for prioritization of projects. Not much has been done in the Nnewi axis. I also want to know his specific plans for power development. In particular, the details of his MOU with Emeka Offor's EEDC company. He is one of the main reasons that the Aba Geometric Power plant project got delayed for more than a decade.

My brother, Obi left office about 10 years ago.. No one governor fixes a state and governance is continuous. Where one stops, the other continues as long as the other is building on the achievements of the predecessor.
AMERICA is still being FIXED, talk less of Anambra state. Obi fixed stage no. 1, Obiano fixed stage no. 2, Soludo will fix stage no. 3. However, I know that HALF EDUCATION IS A DANGEROUS DISEASE. Road to my interior village was tarred by Obi and fortunately, it passed in front of my house. Ask INNOSON motors how Obi kick started him with an initial order of 1000 (one thousand) vehicles and paid him upfront to start the production. Obi has created a foundation for good governance in Nigeria for anyone that cares to learn. Luckily, Soludo looks like he was paying attention to Obi. If so, Anambra will continue to be in the lead for good governance.
