i can confirm as a pythone programmer that all the other languages is much better in all the ways but scratch is a great start for people getting started with programming as you start thinking like one

I made a full fledged game on scratch once it was actually pretty great but it kept crashing scratch so I had to move it to turbo warp but Then I kept running into issues with cloning sprites (it would crash) so I used a scratch mod by sheep tester and it did surprisingly well. I use gms2 now because i got tired of having to hard code the camera movements and shakes but it’s still good for beginners.
Yeah and have it run at low FPS and not the fastest speeds. Its a good learning program, but there is no application in actual real world problems when you have python for ML, C++ for rly fast embedded systems or game design, etc…
