'Real Antisocial Behaviour Problem In Country' | Isabel Oakeshott Wants Crackdown On Crime

  • Ian Collins and Isabel Oakeshott discuss the government's plan to simplify planning laws and increase housing supply as announced in the King's Speech.
Collins expresses frustration towards local concerns that hinder development, while Oakeshott acknowledges the validity of these concerns but emphasizes the need to balance them with the need for more housing.
They also discuss the potential consequences of new rental laws and crime policies, with Oakeshott expressing concerns that the laws will have a negative impact on the rental market, and Collins highlighting the need for stronger measures to address anti-social behaviour.

Overriding local concerns is exactly what Labour are planning. Case in point....
Milliband did a video claiming hes "overturned the onshore windfarm BAN".... but, the ban never officially existed.
Because of the planning laws, just one local objection could deny planning permission being granted for the windfarm. So Millibands "overturning the BAN", literally means Labour will override local residents objections to its "green energy" plans by changing planning laws.
@TalkTV should question Labour MPs, and climate zealots like Jim from met office, if theyve heard of and understand photovoltaic heat islands.
Because installing vast solar panels and farms in one location contributes to local atmosphere warming in the daytime, causing more demand of energy to cool buildings. And they cause colder night temperatures, which requires more energy to heat buildings.
Solar actually increases energy demand and warming of the atmosphere.

What did you think labour would do when back in power? It’s the same as the last labour government and every labour government before them. The will take everything from the working people, and waste it on the illegal immigrants and foreigners in the uk.
You will be taxed until you have no time to yourself as you will be working all the time. You will not get time to see what labour are doing because your be working long hours. Your wages will stay the same and not go up because they have imported illegal immigrants who will get benefits and work at the same time. They will still get full benefits when working. But you try the same and your benefits will be deducted to show that you worked.
You will have to make time to use food banks, because they will tax you so much. You will be second class in your own country, you will own nothing, you will put your children in state run schools so they can be indoctrinated to accept the labour way of life.
In which you do as your told, own nothing and will work to pay &or every immigrant and foreigner to have a better life. If you question this 5he police will be round to your tent as the illegals immigrants and foreigners will have the housing to arrest you.
Now you voted to be told what you can and cannot do. You have been warned for the last 50 years what labour will do. An you, yes you reading this keep voting for them. Instead of telling everyone you know to vote for others like the Tories or now reform.
Now tell me, don’t you wish you still have an incompetent Tory government. An it’s only weeks since labour got back into power.
Just think what it will be like in 5 years time. Welcome to being second class in your own country.
God even in the USA a politicianTrumps running mate has highlighted what is happening to the uk.

The problem is that the houses that are built in each area does not go to housing local people, they bring in peoplle from outside the area while the local people remain on the housing weaiting list or have to remain living with parents because they can't afford the price of the houses.
They built affordable housing all over our little village and gave the rental to an outside council and the price of the houses were well beyond the pocket of local people

As much as I appreciate both your views on house building in our once spacious beautiful countryside. The reason that people in East Sussex aren't happy is not the usual nimby problem . It is mostly because there are literally thousands of new houses been and being built but no extra infrastructure being put in place. I saw an MP last week on tv saying they are going to tackle this. She was talking about train and road infrastructure not a mention of needing more schools and doctors surgeries hospitals and nurseries. You ask the water companies when they are building more reservoirs to supply the already strained and desperately short supplies for the present population in 2019. It will take at least a decade or more to build and as far as i know not evened planned yet. Its not because of what you are referring to at all in most cases at all. Its the lack of basic services Access as well as who the 4-5 Bedroom houses are being built for.
