  • Attachai seemed to have the measure of namsaknoi up until the end of the 3rd but namsaknoi fought back with good workrate and determination to take a draw in this exciting fight of 2 legends of this muaythai era.

Namsaknoi and Buakaw are both from Por Pramuk Camp... until Por Pramuk screwed Namsaknoi over and he couldn't fight in Thailand for many years. Same as they did to Buakaw recently.

There's a video somewhere. Namsaknoi was poorly paid as most of the prize money went to greedy camp, he even couldn't support his mom. After an attempt to rearrange the deal went south. He decided to leave and so was not allowed to fight within the Thailand unless the other club would have paid the "bounty" for his whole training from the very beginning to champ times to Por Paramuk camp. The money were huge since the camp 'owns' fighters: something to do with a contract of training and thai law. He wasn't famous outside of Thailand and those were pre internet times. So the only thing he was allowed to do is Couching the others. Finally nowdays he's got his camp somewhere in south Thailand and he's got a channel you can check out. As for Buakaw - he was number two in Por Paramuk camp. And by the time he got problem with 'em he was quite famous so he went on. But not without a drama in Thailand. Theres been a large mess on tv and he said he could withstand hard thraining not poor treatment. He said if he had to go to a prison, he would. It was quite large in public with the victories he got for Thailand so Por Paramuk had to 'save their face' and publically pardon him. Something like that. Whoever knows more could correct me.

@TheUfchink His boxing sure has. recently there's been a CZcams video of him strictly box-sparring with another international Muay Thai champion and there's no way that level of boxing came strictly from any Muay thai camp BEFORE his time in K-1.
Shows his nearly flawless technique and just how Buakaw is a perfectionist in every strike he throws from his body.
