I'm an old broad, but I remember growing up that some of the most respected people I knew were the school janitors. We knew they did a hard job and we LISTENED to them.
I'm 55 and I remember how much we honoured and respected our school janitor.

In grade school we loved our janitor and he was a black man in an all white neighborhood in Oklahoma..mid-50's. Lol. I still remember him.
Same my mom was a school janitor in my high school. I was excited to run into her in between classes. She was preparing to act like she did not know me to protect me. I did not care I ran up to her to say hi. She was so happy her face lit up. She thought she would embarrass me. I told her never I do not care what these kids think. My mom worked 2 jobs and stayed married to a mean drunk to raise us in a 2 parent home. It paid off. Her prayers got us through. My dad finally came to the lord many many years latter. Their latter years were their best years. They are both with Jesus now. Cant wait to see them both again.

I'm a disabled janitor at a sports bar myself. I enjoy singing acapella while I clean the bathrooms. It especially helps me get through my emotional days!!

@@jennyperrio4887 god blessed ur lovely ❤ for doing that. My own mother has dementia now for the pass 2 yrs. That she started to make no sense but otherwise she's fine. It's hard on us children to see how she is now. She's 94 yrs old. I guess she's got a strong heart for an 85 pd woman. Take care!I 😇😇💔💝💖💗💌

I've met countless janitors with a hell of a history. This is but one of them now. You never judge the book just by the look of it's cover.

Never underestimate a Janitor. They can be anything from a master artist or a great singer to a masters degree holding Scientist or a Millionaire. Great voice, I love the rasp.

My dad was janitor, we kids helped him with that job. He also was a writer & newspaper editor and a teacher!! He also put on plays! A hard-working role model 😊Sang well also. In his senior years, he was a stand-up comic.
