This movie is sooooo important for me, on many levels. I'm a Christian, and faith always has been a huge part of my life, and watching this musical on Netflix was so satisfying. It was like "Yes! Finally sth I can truly, 100% relate to.". I watched this movie with such a big smile on my face. I was so so happy. It was amazing.

I didn't even realize this was going to be a Christian movie, until I saw Bailee Madison sing "Our God Is An Awesome God" pop up on YOutube, had I known that earlier, I would've watched A week Away sooner. I really thought it was going to be another cheesy camp rock/highschool musical version, but no it WAS AWESOME haha!

It is so good to see funny, happy, faithful actors that are strong and steadfast in their faith and hope. It is so cool to see people making a difference through musical films!
This film has touched me in more ways than one and I almost lost my faith just like Kevin cause I didn't know what was right and what was wrong or what to believe but after I watched this film it just made my faith grow and glow more and it helped me realize God is always there for you no matter what and we need more movies like this one cause it hits home plate for some or most people and people need movies like these to help pick them back up. Love you Bailee and Kevin Thanks for helping to make this film the way it is!!!!
Agreed! Was so glad when I came across this.
Bravo to Kevin!! God spoke to him in the moment of need, an hour of need! He lost his faith and God restored it 100× more and gave him everything he needed to go foward and THAT'S the God I serve! THAT'S the God of Christians!

I love this because it is a lot more realistic than many would think. I went to church camp and another summer convention thing all through high school and both were so much like this movie. It best, cheesiest, and challenging ways!

This movie was amazing in all areas but the end kind of surprised me in the last conversation between these two actors. It made it seem like Will was only there to spend time with Avery, not spend time with God. That kind of caught me off guard as a Christian, because Church camp is supposed to be a getaway experience with God and friends where your main focus is on Him. But otherwise this movie was great.
I have a question. My faith is very important to me and I believe I have a close relationship with God, but I don't read the bible or enjoy going to church. Does that mean I'm not committed? That I need to start doing those things?
I think it would be good for you to do those things too. Because you can already pray and talk to God. But when you read the bible and go to church God talks to you. He can talk to you, and develop a stronger relationship with you.The first thing you need to do is to accept Jesus to be committed .
Every knee will bow & every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord AMEN
