Remove fill cap first, then the drainage. Drained liquid with no way to fill if the fill screw gives you trouble.
Nothing worse than draining a differential THEN finding out the fill plug is seized...
Thanks for the video!
thanks nice tutorial

Is there a filter for transmission oil?
For the transmission yes but this video is on the rear end. Thanks for watching!
1. Always remove diff fill plug first could be seized. 2. Never use an impact to tighten bolts really big mistake on this. Torque to specs when possible. 3. Motocraft oil in kia? Otherwise great vid.
You have to get that plug out no matter what. Using an impact is fine honestly we have been doing it for years. The brand of oil doesn't matter as long as the viscosity and synthetic rating meet the requirement. Thanks for watching!
I understand your point but why not show viewers the correct way to do this procedure for DIY people(myself). You see my point.
Socket size is 24
Always loosen the FILL plug first. If you drain and can’t get the fill plug out you’re hosed.
You have to get it out one way or another. Can't just leave the old fluid in there forever. Thanks for watching!
