I remember the first time I saw the T-Birds, in the late 80's. I'd only heard Tough Enough and Wrap it Up. They were at a blues festival in California that also featured Santana, SRV and I think John Lee Hooker. I was amazed at Kim Wilson's harp playing. Been a fan ever since.
Saw them at Sloss Furnace, Birmingham AL. Kim and his harp was cuttin heads with a train..one of those magic moments awesome train whistle and then kim ..back and forth..unbelievable
First saw the Kid with Sugar Ray n the Bluetones at a harmonica blow out in SF many many moons ago and it was the first time I ever heard or saw Rod Piazza n crew too.
'Pressure Cooker' should NEVER be mentioned without Clarence Gatemouth Brown being the next words outa' anyones mouth ;) but...i'll check that out...thanks for posting.
@@jimmrockford9407 I just listened to Gatemouth's '86 studio version on Alligator Records. That'd be right at home on any jazz station's playlist. I like that it's under three minutes. Get in, get the job done, get out.

That band was so underated that it's criminal ..
Jimmy and Stevie Ray Vaughan created some of the best classic guitar licks that will live on forever! RIP SRV!
