One Of The Most Bizarre Ways To Fail A Test

- In this video I am going to clearly explain how a driver failed his test by trying to let someone else proceed at a set of traffic lights, however this badly backfired when the other person hesitated as well and it ultimately led to a grade 3 mark being picked up. It's important to just go if you have the right of way and I'll explain that in more detail in this video.

Like i started one of the playlist roundabouts... and now on Turning Right on yellow box playlist. Hi Dane thanks for all of your great videos, learning a ton! I have a question though , I understand you can never stop in a yellow box unless you are turning right, is this only for junctions with a filter light? If I were turning right off a major road on to a minor road, let's say into an estate, but there is a yellow box in front of me , to allow users in the minor road to get on to the major.. Do I need to stop before this yellow box ,while waiting for oncoming traffic to clear , before I start my right turn into the minor road? Thanks!
If you're on the main road you can enter the yellow box if you want to turn right, the minor road does not have priority and they need to wait for a safe gap.
Do you have a video about the recommended position for seat height, recline, wheel height etc? I found the one about mirror very good!

Hi Dane, question about electronic hand brake please. Do we have to physically turn off the hand brake (with our hand) during driving test just to show the tester? It sounds stupid & unnecessary but i just want to make sure. Thank you.

On the entrance to an estate in mallow there is a 10 speed limit sign but it doesn’t look very official would you go 10km/h or 30km/h in this situation. The road is very wide and usually no traffic there btw

Hi Dane, for the driving test is it necessary to come to a full stop at a roundabout even if the coast is clear?
If it's safe and clear keep going.
But why are you asking me this question? Surely you understand that the basic idea of a roundabout is to keep traffic flowing, was this not explained to you in your driving lessons?

So I don't know if you remember but about a month ago I left a comment on you channel about how this irish driving test is a scam. Well after failing for a 3rd time 2 weeks ago. I got into an argument with the tester. I demanded to speak to a supervisor. Long story short after threatening possible legal action the supervisor offered to test me himself. That was yesterday and I passed with no faults... 2 weeks ago that other tester gave me 2 grade 3 faults and 12 grade 2 faults. How do you explain this anomaly? Did I drastically improve driving in the matter of 2 weeks or is it a total scam. You decide

If you got 2 grade 3 faults you arent ready to be on the road unaccompanied. The reason you passed the second time was probably more mindset and mentally related then improving skill wise
I don't know the finer details of your situation but I admire you for sticking up for yourself. I know for a fact that generally speaking the Irish Driving Test is professionally run and fair but there will always be inconsistencies with the testers. A supervisor conducting a test is usually a bit more lenient than the regular testers who might have too much to prove.
Omg I know exactly how you feel on my second d attempt of the test I got a grade 3 which was not my fault what so ever. I came up to a roundabout heading back to my test junction was clear proceeded to take my second exit and 3 grannies late for mass failed to yield and give way to me already on the roundabout and I was given a grade 3! My Instructor said I could appeal it but chances are I would have a black mark against me!!! That tester has now retired in wexford!
