Hearty congratulations for building your dream. Passion and interest trumps the long work days. This is an inspiration for me, unfortunately most population lost the art of building on their own.
Don't we know it! Maybe we can help rekindle the art of doing things yourself! Hard work building it, but loving it too! Thanks for the great comment.
I like how he made sure to build his huge garage for his RV. great work.
Thank you!
Congrats! There are few better feelings than being able to sit back and enjoy the view of years of planning, hard work, and painting. Lots and lots of painting. Enjoy your new barndominium!
Thank you! Yes, lot of work, paint and nails... Even with 337 Nudura ICF blocks, lots of nails!
Hey it’s Jake Davis here. Congratulations on your build! I watched the whole video, it was really well made!
Thank you so much! This one took a lot of time to make!
I’m really impressed what you did and enjoying watching your channel , your retriever is too cute , great channel ❤
Thank you so much! Kenai is her name, she is a good girl, kept an eye on me during the build, made sure I was doing things safely!
Thanks for sharing!
You are welcome! Lots of paint and nails!!
Good Job, a lot of hard work to do most of it yourself. The only thing that I would have done differently, I would have put insulation on the outside of the roof. Rockwool under the so the attic would have been conditioned space.
For sure. But it is a large space! Over 16' tall inside the garage, plenty of room inside, not sure if we could actually use the attic space... Over our first winter we were no lower than 55 degrees inside the garage with no heat! 65 inside the living space before we turned on the Mini Splits. So far so good!
Hi, great video. Can you please tell me how you built your window and door bucks? I haven't seen this way of doing bucks before. Thanks.
Go to Episode 17: What in the world is ICF? I explain how I built all our window bucks there. Thank you for the great question!
