This song has a very special meaning for Dimash as it was the very first song he ever sang in Chinese. Every week during “the Singer”, competitors would have to learn a song. The video link above is from Gloria Wu’s channel and gives the entire background story of how Dimash approached the song working 18 hr days to make sure he would be understood by his Chinese audience. Most good.Dimash reactors will show the entire background as well as the performance to their audience. The song also has such a powerful emotional current that I have yet to see a reactor not cry upon hearing it. I hope you will do this song next. Don’t forget to have a box of tissues ready because this song is a tear jerker.

Also, I saw both the fancam and the official version of the second performance of Opera 2, and it was even better than on Singer, so I see no problem with reacting to Singer performances. Also, you can see that in Gala concerts, where he sang Hello, there was no post production at all as it was a live broadcast, and it was more than amazing. Eventually, he performed Autumn about 30 times already and he always sounds terrific, and you can feel no difference in the quality of his performance, whether it's official version or fancam. So it clearly shows that he doesn't need post production and he sounds as good or better without it. I agree with you that the last performances of Autumn are even better, but I and many others adore all the performances of this song, including the Singer. I see no problem with double reaction, some reactors do it very successfully, and it can please viewers who prefer one or the other version.

Second, IMHO, the production quality of the Singer is amazing and the orchestra and musicians are first class. I prefer the 5.1 Dolby audio that this show provides. The Kiev concert is an excellent rendition reflecting Dimash’s growth as an artist. However, the sound and video quality is quite unacceptable for me. I abhor fan cams as people should put down their damn phones and respect the artist with their own eyes and ears. Third, I like reactors to see the progression of any artist from their beginnings to the present day. It provides context as to the artist’s character. Clearly, Dimash is a once in a century talent! However, it is not just talent that made him the vocalist that he is. The Wu video shows “the work” that he put in to learning a song in Mandarin and his actual nature as a perfectionist in making sure that the audience understood him.
