Beginner guides were a godsend when I started. The game also does a pretty good job of teaching you what things do, though it may all look overwhelming at first.
What data center are you on? 👀 Always looking for new friends lol

@@Sonicmanatom Raids are no trouble at all! Especially the few you need to do for MSQ. Also, most often people will let you know what you need to do if they notice youre in there for the first time or having some struggles 👍Otherwise, they're not much more trouble than your regular dungeon (pertaining to MSQ). Just make sure you pay attention to the story when you do the Crystal Tower series ;)
Also, Im on Primal Behemoth. Have yet to try data center travel, always wanted to just didnt have a reason, if you'd like to hang sometime 🤔

Going from playing Destiny 2 and not understanding what the hell is going on in your streams to playing FFXIV casually to being paid to transfer to a data center/ world so I can join an LGBT friendly FC with a FURRY FC Lead with their Furry partner and getting high with them and watching anime and Alien 2 and being able to do Extreme/Savage content on release and being able to relate and understand the pain of grinding for the wings has been an extremely wholesome and empowering experience for the past year of my life.
I have hit the very peak of my existence and I never want to go back.

I've done the same thing with Rouge, originally in defiance, then as a personal challenge. What sucks is while leveling in Bozja you can't use lost actions and essences, but auto-rez sticks and other people can still buff you...

My static first cleared EX2 last week, and ran a few more after. Out of 4 runs we saw wings twice, back to back :)

Got Vali wings on my first time seeing them, after 44 runs, and won with rolling a 69.
Then started farming Zoraal Ja, after 30 runs joined a group, told them we'd see 2 mounts during the farm. 3rd clear : mount. 4th clear : mount again, got it.

Then I had to farm gear on my Raiding alt? and I rolled on what I could and with a total of 255 Extreme clears with both characters combined? I won... The farm is real. It took 174 clears 9 mount losses for me to finally win it on the 10th one. But the feeling of cathartic release after getting it is euphoric.

my group of 5 has been doing EX1s on the weekend so we can hopefully all get the wings (lol) currently we're at 75 clears and have had the mount drop 3 times, one of which was on our first clear

Took 121 totems to get my wings, lost about 9 pairs. This EX was utter pain, I can't wait for EX3.
I was lucky enough to get my wings of ruin at 91 runs.
I had to legit stop the video when the Honey B Lovely song started playing, I've been suffering through M2S pfs and that song makes me irrationally angry now
