As a f2p I’m summoning his banner mainly to get the gems from summoning 10x in the event
its even worse if you use him in realms. his whirlwind:
does NOT reapply pen until the current pen is completely ran out making his rotations feel like ass
AND
his pen only gets applied to ONE enemy...despite whirlwind being an aoe...the first enemy that gets hit takes pen, the rest take nothing
Don't worry, at EX, he's able to apply pen two times, and both of them have different durations! *totally amazing EX that you have to spend hundreds of dollars to achieve, not sarcasm whatsoever*
Blazing Tempest also doesn't have jiggle physics 😤 SI>>>BT

They really need to rework this dante and make him 100% dps or 100% supp make him stack brand and or app burning with every hit like nero or fos or buff an insane amount the % of fire pen cuz v CA at s has 40% pen using 1 skill or buff at least up to 1k% on his combo a-b and his ult spin
If they fix this Dante, then I'll gladly take back all the negative stuff I've said about him, and I'll gladly EX him, but if they don't, then it is what it is

They need to make Dante the Sin Devil Trigger as a sort of retribution to this abomination of a game.
I regret so much not getting DB these past runs. Everyone called him lame but here we have even worse Dante who was supposed to be a damn DPS.
DB Nero isn't as bad as people say he is, sure, he isn't what he should be and could be without ranks but I do believe DB has way more value than this guy could ever hope to achieve unless they buff him

$1400-$2800 is a decent approximation if you don't get lucky and get him 7x In a row before pity

The problem with a sub-dps is why in Sparta’s name would I want to use a character that deals LESS damage when I could be using my main dps instead? I can’t build brand, can’t even do burning unless I do the whirlwind attack, and at that point it’s already time to switch.
Part of the demon book mechanic is you get extra damage dealt to enemies with active burning/bleeding/paralysis/freezing gages, so no matter what he’s going to be doing less damage than everyone else unless you have bad or no runes equipped.
Just watched the whole video. I must say that it would've been best for Blazing Tempest to be a DPS instead of semi dps. Dunno why but even FOS feels better. I agree about the fact that despite being SSS limited he doesn't do his job well.
Thing is they made it so legendary runes only help the main dps chae for each element, so no matter what, he'd still be weaker.

I play from 1 week of global launch and pay 10$ only,so i am near to f2p.Have all hunters(without this new shit)all in base S and CT/DB SS.So its posible as f2p to get all and some weapons.Of course u cannot EX limited hunters,just skipp all and get CT EJ on reruns and all be fine as f2p

I'd recommend deleting the game but if you want an actual legitimate tip for a new player, I'd say to save all your gems and don't summon until you build the first three characters the game gives you. Make sure to maximize Demon Hunter Dante, Swift Arsenal Lady, and Knight Of The Order Nero first before you consider summoning on the premium gacha system.

Spark Igniter is just generally the better support for the team anyway, Dante will just collect dust and be long forgotten until they buff him
The only good thing is he can shred hit shields quite easily he’s just weak as hell with low HP
At least we have a superior Dante named Destined Executioner who has well over 90k+ HP and can actually survive the DMD one shot attack

If this character was good I prob woulda came back to the game. I was waiting for an SSS limited Dante. And Agni & Rudra was one of my favorite weapons literally ever, only to find he's ass. The best Dante is still the one we had from day 1 who can be summoned on any banner. Kinda pathetic really.
