I absolutely love the ability to swap out any old Alkaline in a pinch. It's perfect for emergencies.
This is very true. Definitely a big plus for this particular flashlight. And the specs still look pretty good even with a standard alkaline AA battery.
This flashlight is going to be some real competition for the i5r, especially with that tighter/ more focused beam. 😎👍

Gotta love thrunite coming in with some nice options for $20. With the way prices are getting on damn near everything now a days my hats off to them for still offering well made lights many around the $20 mark when everyone else is double or more.
I do prefer flashlights that have the ability to use a rechargeable battery and then switch to a regular battery if needed. Good job Thrunite!

I am loving the new Archer pro V2! Love the beam pattern, output, and tint to the light. And Thrunite really knocked it out of the park with the new colors. I got the orange, OD green, and the blue. I'm really looking forward to trying out the new Saber. Kind of looks like it's going to be an i5r killer.

I’ve always been extremely impressed with Thrunight products, and on the one light I had that had a manufacturing issue the customer service promptly assisted in getting it Replaced. I am very interested in getting this backup flashlight and will continue to buy Thrunight products for myself and as gifts whether I am selected for the promo or not. Thanks you for making affordable lights that are better than every premium brand that’s is priced much higher.
My favorite is the Thrunite Saber because it offers a very good output and takes the most common battery you can find, excellent for emergency 👍

All my friends I've gifted your flashlights to LOVE THEM, and so do their teenage kids! It seems the teenagers are always stealing the flashlights before they go camping or hiking. Hmm, I think it's time my friends buy their own and I try to win one for myself. These are AWESOME, no comparison to other brands.Of all these lights my fav is the ThruNite Archer PRO for its brightness.

what ppl wanna know: price, capability in terms of highest output, but also in terms of battery lasting potential. would be cool to give us some numbers in this direction. Cool video non the less.

Looks like the saber is the brightest of all the smallest lights and it looks like the switch is not as sensitive as the Archer. And that's the reason why I won't carry the Archer V2 because it just keeps turning on in my pocket.
Another excellent Thrunite product for sure. Handy, compact, but powerful and reliable and inexpensive.

I have a few Thrunite flashlights and love them. I like the Saber because you have the option of an alkaline battery. Great choice in those difficult times.

This might actually be the perfect everyday carry light.
The only things I would add are a rubberized button, a USB-C charging port and harder lens. (I understand those added options could increase the price, but there are some customers like myself that wouldn't mind to spend more for those features.) Thank you!

Having been a big fan of the Thrunite Archer series for quite some time, the Saber looks like a great candidate for a more compact carry option.

Each has its own place in EDC.
This would be the perfect edc. I personally like the pen type flashlight for my everyday carry. Super light, compact, clips on the pocket. I really like the fact that you can use alkaline batteries or the rechargeable. More than adequate lighting, watertight. Perfect!

Thanks for the video. I want to give the Saber a try if its rear switch is not as sensitive as the Archer Pro. I love the Archer Pro, but like the commenter above, it goes off in my pocket a lot.

Looks like the Saber is very competitive with the other offerings in its class. What pushes Thrunite ahead of the competition is that they offer a choice of color temperature. The natural white is my favorite and I have declined to purchase other flashlights that were very appealing, but were only offered in cool white.
I agree with your ranking; ThruNite is on a roll. Having a dual battery type with charging capability is extremely versatile. And of course the TN products have higher output.

I like the Archer for daily carry but keep a AA light (plus extra batteries)in the car for emergencies. Being able to just change the battery out has come in handy.
I've got the Streamlite, it'd be interesting to see how they compare over time.
I love my i5r ti as my backup. It sits in my tale of knives holster long my backup knife and backup dual click pen. I live by 1 is none and 2 is 1 lol.

THese are all great size for EDC carry anywhere. Like that they have removable batteries. (Except the last arger one...)
The only other option I would like to see on a edc flash light is some kind of location device for when I miss place it.
I'm addicted to magnets and flashlights, magnets ever since I was a kid I had a neighbor give me one,and always liked flashlights but about 10 years ago during a power outage I decided to go to bed cause it was almost 11:00 pm and didn't have a flashlight handy and I live in a very small apartment and I walked into my bedroom in the pitch dark and tripped over a small fan I had in the floor and broke my neck and end up with 4 screws and two plates in my neck and now I have flashlights every where and carry no less than two on me ,and since I discovered thrunite my addiction has grown lol 😅
