  • The Russians Are Coming lifts the lid on the exclusive world of super rich Russians who want an English Public School education for their children. Dina Karpova epitomises the aspirational and determined Russians who are embracing the capitalist ethos of the West. A glamorous international property broker, she capitalises on Russia’s love for all things English. Dina has sent her own son to school in the UK and now she is fast-tracking her clients’ children into England’s high society by introducing them to aristocratic families and getting them into the most prestigious Public Schools.
The film follows the journey of 11-year-old step brothers, Natan and Vasilli. Their businessman father, Boris, wants them to get into a top school and it is up to Dina and educational consultant Charles Bonas to prepare them in time for their interviews. The boys are sent on a bespoke course in Dorset to an aristocratic house where they learn how to shoot and play polo, in the hope of integrating them into English high society. They are also given intensive academic tutoring. But will Dina succeed in educating the boys in the ways of the English élite and giving them the social and academic skills they need to get into a top British Public School?

She makes all the effort to get her son into the Westminster school, into the aristocracy, spends all the necessary money etc, and then fails the very simple task of making it on time to watch him race. She could have very easily made it to on time considering she looked so chill in the car AND had a chauffeur. Very little effort was required on her part other than to turn up on time!
To have a parent miss an important event like that is a massive thing for a kid and you can tell he was hurt. It begs the question: Does she really have his best interests at heart, or is she more concerned about her own self-image, about how she''s perceived by the elite back in Russia?
Also, that meal was so stilted and awkward and she spoke to him in a very affected and condescending way. Poor guy.
I hope you see this, Dina.

    Interesting...
Actually thought Dina was quite down to earth, even with all the ridiculous "High society" talk. I think it is important to learn how to get along in
all levels of society. You never know what can happen in your life, from losing all your "riches", to being in a situation where people you may think have no impact on your life, DO! And nowadays, a person with no money can become a millionaire "overnight", whether it is lottery, a talent, an idea/product, by marriage or even, particularly with people having less or no children, a long lost heir! Although more than not the middle class is becoming poorer, having a harder time...for many reasons, socializing between classes of people is not as divisive as it had been for generations...No one should treat another based on how much money they have...you never know if that valet, janitor, plumber, waitress, etc. could surpass your financial standing.

it's a sad thing to see, the essence of what they are doing is preparing thier children to become businessmen, politicians, leaders etc, but what about the world they are leading? the people the majority of their societies who never went to a boarding school. this kind of education is what causing the troubles in our world , all about power and how to rule. but never about empathy never about the value of the human and cultures. those greedy rich people all they care about is thier boring sports and table etiquette. disgusting.

Utter BS. Anyone with a brain knows that the vast majority of super-rich in Russia got there via dubious means, or corrupt connections. This lady might be one of the very few, but even then, her story doesn't quite add up.

The wall can keep the bad immoral Americans away from Mexico and South America as well as keeping unsuspecting people migrating to the USA who expecting something good here from being sorely disappointed at the true lack of sanity they will find here. We have not learned anything from the past at all? America Under Siege Civil War 2017 czcams.com/video/5NclpisAW7Y/video.html Do you support NATO killing innocent people while saying they are protecting the people from Gaddiffi? We are not good at interfering in other countries, we are not very good at governing ourselves., We do not even try to learn what roles we should have from other countries that have been around for tens of thousands of years. It's time for men to stand up and be Godly, lead their families and communities. These days we think we have all the answers but, we do not know if we are a male or a female here? Let's not kill anyone and push them into our sad culture these days are you part of the chaos or part of the solution? Feel bad if you are part of the plan to divide the citizens of the USA. End racist policy's now.We hate that's true it is the rotten communist we hate the most.. 'All we are sayin' is give peace a chance'

I don't usually have much hope that a person in the comments section will be wise enough to understand what I'm about to suggest. However, I do sense a greater level of intelligence and ability in you. Therefore, Please don't let the opportunity to watch some videos of the Russian Spy, turned defector, Yuri Besmenov, as he talks about the purposefully laid out plans to take down our nation through moral and cultural subversion. It's been a long term mission, and yet today, it's nearly complete. What surprised him was how easily and quickly that happen. Also, please watch Charlotte Iserbyte, an insider and whistle blower who exposes the PLANS of our educational system .. she wrote an expose' called The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America. It was mind blowing and truth filled. You're going to be glad you looked into these two.
