- XP-PEN very kindly let me check out the newest generation of their Artist Pro display tablets! Here I share my thoughts on it as well as a short timelapse in Blender using Grease Pencil.

You literally uploaded while I was looking at this on the XP-Pen store! Thanks for a really thorough review, even small things like the USB compatibility help a lot. What was your previous tablet?

How does his compare to the Wacom cintiq 16?
Looks like it gonna be the best 16" display tablet on this generation
Huion Kamvas Pro 16 2.5K is a good option too, they both are very comparable
i have a huion 2.5k pero 16 and i dislike it on my new laptop it doesnt match the resolution so it's boxed in and doesnt use some space on the tablets screen. switching to xp pen lol they have the right resolution @@mirassama4604
I'm a bit sceptical about the stand and working angle. Seem like the angle could cause a strain on the arm if used too much. Your thoughts? I recently got a golfers elbow and its like the worst thing that could happen to me as an artist. Otherwise it looks cool.
I personally haven't had any issues myself but there are times when I do wish the stand was adjustable
Can i use it on a laptop, like legion series? Or do i need a proper pc set up?! How is the compatibility with laptops?

I got a question, will this tablet work for Windows? A lot of the videos I’ve seen people use this tablet has been for a Mac so it made me question myself if I should buy it to use it as a second monitor for my Windows since I have CSP on it and I need a tablet to use it.
Yeah I personally use windows and it’s been working fine for me

@lacruzo 😊 thanks... and you don't need to be sorry... it's not even late. These new model are not available in my country I am trying to get it from abroad, also because this will be my first pen display ever, I asked about it. In their website, detail on the accessories are limited. Thanks I think 1.5m will be plenty for my setup
Does XP-Pen let you keep the tablet or do you have to return it?

Hello 👋 i have just bought xp pen tablet and having a difficult time to set it up properly. For example, i see your pen works very well on the screen while in my case when i hover over the screen of the tablet with the pen the cursor appears at a distance of my actual hand position. Do you know how to adjust it so the point of my pen would be precise with the cursor on the screen. I would much appreciate it, please.
sounds like you might need to calibrate your display in the xp pen software if you haven't already done so
@lacruzo uf, I done it! I figured it out finally. The problem was that the calibration does not always appear when you extend the PC or laptop display instead of duplicating it. The calibration option disappears then. BUT! You have to choose a second display in the option of the scroll-down menu on the screen page of the xp pen driver app and then it works! Just leaving it here for anybody who may need it 😅

I only made minor adjustments to match my monitor a bit better, so it would probably be different for you. The colours look great out of the box so I don't think they need to be changed that much. Hope you have fun with it!

What if you don't have Type-c on your pc?
you would have to purchase the optional 3-in-1 cable with type a that I mentioned
I can’t even imagine using blender with basically only a mouse (in this case, pen)
I use shortcuts so much
Oh I am using keyboard shortcuts, just can't quite see it in frame ^^
