The Gerry Mulligan disc at 17:45 would have been a great pick up.
Thanks for the tip on that one! I will check Gerry Mulligan out, don't have any of his music yet. Thanks for the comments!
Yes, the white jazz musicians that were heroin addicts are great
Ohhh those Mink De Ville records…❤️❤️
lol… maybe I should go back and get those 😃 thanks for checking out the video!
I'm missing a couple of Mink De Ville records, nice one ! Looks like you picked up the Byrds box set. Bob Seger System was a good one in the flip, I bet you have that one, already.
Hey JT, thanks for checking out the video, hope you had a good Fourth of July! I thought about picking up the Mink De Ville but not too familiar with his music, I'll check it out. Yes, I already have the Bob Seger System but did manage to pick up several Jazz and Classic Rock LPs that I needed for my collection, as well as some to sell in my store. Take care and thanks for stopping by.
haha a basement setup like Macys
Yes it was!.. lol. My wife got lost in there for awhile, I went looking for the records. Thanks for checking out the video 👍🏼
Pioneer was great back in the day.
Yes they were! I had a couple of full Pioneer analog cabinets in the early 80s. Thanks for watching 👍🏼
I would have snagged that Camel album
Great tip on that one! I will check it out, thanks!
Me too! Never leave a Camel record behind.
I always pick up the Sheffield Lab direct to disc lps if in good shape for a buck.
Great tip! 👍🏼 appreciate the comments and the support.
I’d have grabbed that Betamax player in the box, even tho I’ve only seen one Betamax tape on my entire life
I don’t even know if you can find Betamax tapes anymore? Thanks for watching!
The two Stan Getz discs at @ 18:30 would have been nice grabs.
Sorry, you did grab them.
Yes! I was glad to grab those Getz LPs and they are both in excellent condition, so very happy with those. Appreciate you checking out the video, my friend.
Did you grab that The Sweet cd? Sweet, awesome band and still not in the RR Hall of Fame but look at the crap that is in there. Can never get away from Barbara and Barry..
Yes I did, I grabbed a bunch of CDs and didn’t get it on film, very happy with that pick! 👍🏼 Sweet 🎸
Michael nesmith. Monkees
Run DMV
I have SO MANY Monkees LPs but I probably should have grabbed the Run DMC, thanks!
RCA Selectavision. They are not laser discs. Takes a special player. They are actually movies ona record
Aha! Thanks for clarifying that, I have never owned one of those but wonder if they are worth getting into? I've sold several laser discs though and still own a few. Appreciate the comments, as always!
Nice find with the Fred Wesley!
Thanks! I was lucky to find that one, listened to it.. great record… but, sold it the very next day online for $39 plus shipping.
You passed over a bunch of great records on estate #4
Thanks for watching and for noticing that, I did leave several behind because I either already have them or condition was not good, but appreciate the comments. Stay tuned for another video coming soon!
Nice haul of records. Question, when you showed the Fred Wesley record you inserted a graphic from a website. What website is that from and how do you access that? Also, what is your eBay store called? Thanks!
The website is: Discogs … you definitely want to get on there, it’s a site where you can keep track of your inventory of LPs, check prices, buy and sell vinyl, etc.. it also tracks music CDs and DVDs.. a great resource, and it’s free. My eBay store is called: Five Star General Store. Thanks for watching and supporting 👍🏼
There’s gonna be huge floods of the 60’s Rock items as more and more of the boomers kick off. It’s already been stated that 50’s Rock “can’t move anymore” in a lot of stores. Will the post-Beatles era follow suit?
Crazy how the market changes with each generation but Rock n Roll will never die!.. right? Thanks for watching 👍🏼
A lot of us millenials collect the 60’s and 70’s rock, it’s what our parents listen too. I think it’ll be a while before classic rock isn’t sought after.
@@sethallison5682 awesome! Long live ROCK! Thanks for your input.
Quite a variegated assortment. You hit the motherlode with some classics, especially jazz. I was not aware of that Rhymin' Simon concert album, so I learned something.. I was amazed at that one place - I didn't know anybody in the world had bought so many videodiscs. How are you doing with CDs? I'm noticing an emerging market, though I only have one solid ongoing customer. I noted with interest your pickup of Christopher Cross; I'm surprised I sold that album. I saw a Rickie Lee Jones on the shelf. If you don't have any, you may want to try one or two. I've been satisfied with my sales of her work, and I personally admire her artistry.
Hey thanks for all the tips 👍🏼 I do ok with CDs but mostly end up keeping lots of them, usually triple my cost on the ones I sell but don’t sell a bunch. I decided to grab that C Cross because it was in such good shape, most aren’t, I’ll check into R Lee Jones 👍🏼 it was a good day for jazz. Thanks!
Geez buddy, can you throw around the CD's anymore? Don't think anyone else may want them?.?...
Thanks for watching!
I went in there after him and I got fingerprints on all the discs
