Five minutes in a world of calm, wisdom and intelligence of the gesture. Five minutes of pleasure of the eyes. Many thanks to this gentleman for showing us that this ancient world is still alive.
Its the Japanese way - they of all people I know of, live as if every material has its own intelligence. The Western paradigm is mastery and conquest, even at the cost of brutality in design; the Eastern path is patience and synergy.
These types of sceneries, simplicity of life, artistry and full mastery of the craft are the things you need to see after a stressful day and during this Corona crisis, this video is a piece of heaven right here.
A Japanese cooper, but more than that. With a skill and attention typical of Japanese craftsman. Something as mundane as a bucket becomes as beautiful as any art.
Мир слишком занят технологией и будущим, ручной трут теперь мало ценят, только как музей. поглазеют видео, лайк поставят и дальше бежать. Мустеру здоровья!!
This video makes me feel good, I love the fact that there are still craftsmen like this out there doing their trade daily, I hope he can make a decent living from this work. His containers are beautiful, and if cared for, would last a very long time. Thank you for sharing this video with the world. Fantastic! Cheers from Tokyo!
Skill and craftsmanship are evident in this gentleman's work and I expect it took years to learn. I hope he is able to pass his knowledge on to someone who will keep the craft alive for years to come.
I haven't chance to get in Japan for looking myself-the little boy love wooden art work, with this channel, somehow in myself is crying, i was feeling how surface smooth after process, how its smell after cut, how smell when burn, the story from old mans about the forests, the life of trees. My country, wooden art work is being fading, replace by cnc machine with hundreds copies, they are no longer unique. Now, everyday in city with cement wall and glass, i feel i missing something important, this reminds me of how i was . Sorry for my stupid emotions and terrible English.
Beautiful- just beautiful! Somehow, some way, follow your passion and get out into nature- find a passionate way of allowing your creative juices to flow- create, create, create- doesn’t have to be perfect- just get lost in the process. Get connected and get away from all the concrete. Modern society has separated us from our real point of connection. I’m trusting that you’ll find a way to reconnect for the remainder of your days with the wild, natural world
