Tanzanian are low key People and Country. They don't brag or talk but action. Every time I return to Dar or Mwanza is something new. Tanzanian love been African, their sense of pride, Patrioticism is one of its kind in African Continent. I travel from Dar to Arusha by road. I was amazed with their road. The massive infrastructure, in Dar and their City bus is among the best in World. One things I love about Tanzanian and the Country thier law and order.

Kenya fiscal policies have been cartel-based rather than Tz's citizens-based, few connected Kenyans are stealing from Government to build fancy establishments making Kenya appear to be enormously developing. The situation is further worsen by massive borrowing to fund infrastructure projects. Kenya tunaringa na vitu vya loans na uwizi.

That's a stupid wheelbarrow argument. Infrastructure growth spruces up the economy in all areas. Any politician investing locally believes in this country. The likes of Sugoi and his wash-wash and changaa brewing friends are the biggest enemies to growth. The capitalistic nature is good when there is fair play. Tanzania is finally abandoning the ujamaa nonsense and encouraging positive capitalism.

Friendly and Constructive competition, Whether in Music, Sports or Business or any other is the best for development.
    So keep it up EAC.
Thats why most Communist countries failed with their state driven Economy, vs the West which has Market driven Economies were competition is very high.
Except for China which adopted Market driven economy that developed very fast because regional competition was also encouraged by the Govt
Same goes for EAC's region vs SADC vs ECOWAS and others, regional competition will help to fast-track Africa's economy.
Same goes for competition within the EAC, has made EAC the fastest developing region in Africa.

Farah is speaking as an opposition MP. Do not take him seriously on this matter. World Bank data is different from the sourse he is quoting from. However, he has a point about the growing competitiveness of Tanzania's economy. With factories closing and relocating from Kenya on grounds of cost of power and corruption index, foreign investments, and importing more and more from Kenya, There is enough competition from Tanzania to make Kenya burn the midnight oil. But with increased taxation, suspended infrastructure development, and politicians of impeachable character holding seniormost government positions, Kenya's economy is for sure gonna shrink.
