This is the part of Geometry that makes me go: "Is this math?"
It’s called ‘logic’ and yes it is part of math...kind of different i know.
Yeah right, initially I thought it was out from the law books
No, it is not MATH nor logistics.
This is a way of controlling the way you think and the way YOU NEED TO ANSWER STATEMENTS to comply with some people in the government 🙄😑
This is better than my professor's videos by trillions of
miles

N.B: P occurs before Q in every situation
e.g: If you study (P) then you will get a good grade (Q).
You always study before you even get back a grade, therefore, with the fact that P occurs before Q, studying would be P and getting a good grade would be Q.
That's the only thing that I found that could be confusing to viewers, so I felt compelled to share this truth :) ;D
Actually, Order on the context does not matter here, If you can convert the written statement into logical form like p and q, you just have to follow the rules. Dont worry about order here, it will be a helpful tip as I learned the hard way lol.
Excellent sir! thanks a lot for sharing knowledge.

Two lines form right angles then they are perpendicular. Is this true for lines in three dimensions where they may or may not intersect?
Well with me "if I study, I MIGHT make a good grade" XD

For me it doesnt matter whether or I study, I still get a failing grade

plz help........Given the statement, "If you have completed the Geometry course, then you are a better person."
Give:
1) The Inverse of that statement.
2) The Converse of that statement.
3) The Contrapositive of that statement.
4) Which of the above is definitely true if the given statement is true?
+Mario's Math Tutoring So today, after watching a bunch of math videos (one them is this specific video of yours) for Geometry, I had a couple of questions to answer and one of them were "The compound statement (p --> q)(q --> --> p) is a conjunction of two ____." I wasn't sure what the answer was most because of the two arrows going in the same direction, which was different than how most people represent biconditionals. Can someone please explain?
+Matt_Master8711 I'm not sure I completely understand your question however I can tell you that if both the conditional statement and the converse statement are both true than you can combine them into a biconditional statement. Also if you have a true biconditional statement you can rewrite it as two true statements one being the conditional and the other the converse. Hope that helps.
Mario's Math Tutoring OK. Thanks!
superb vid.understood the entire concept well.the guy who disliked this video doesn't know maths.

May I ask what if the question goes like this:
Converse: If a triangle is a scalene, then two sides are not equal
then what will be the inverse of this statement?
Andrea Smith if two sides are equal, then a triangle is not a scalene
Can we call it antecedent and consequence?
Hahahaha you’re amazing!!!!
Could you go over the truth value tables for each ?
