Sara was recorded during the first (try-out) performance of Yoline at 13 November 2022 at the BAERMusic Studio in Egmond (Netherlands). Camera: Cynthia Levering.
YOLINE bestaat sinds november 2021 als band. Vijf bandleden en een video editor vormen de vaste kern. De band maakt eigen bewerkingen van bekende stukken in de country-rock stijl met een knipoog naar jazz. Daarnaast maakt de band eigen composities. Beluister en bekijk de band alvast op de bandpagina. i'm the opposite. saw it and clicked. In my experience (i'm a player myself), the best performances and musicians in real life and on youtube are the ones dressed as they dress every day and look like they just got up from watching tv to jam.
Sara is much more than a solo of Stevie. If you listen carefully you will hear the outstanding harmony of Christine McVie. Your vocals were very well executed on Stevie’s lead , keyboards were on point along with bass and acoustic 6 string guitar. The drummer played well but needs a upgrade on his drum kit. His kit is too tinny. There is a good reason Mick plays a DW drum kit to get the rich sound that this song requires. I did enjoy this live recording. This is one the best covers of a very difficult song to preform!

The rythm section drives this song so the drums should be more pushing the song foreward. Less eights on the high hat. More syncopic. And the bass could be more in sync with that and be more precise. For the rest well done.
