it is used with other chemo like Vidaza. It is used by both Sarah Cannon and Vanderbilt. It has a lot to do with what type of mutations are found. If she has any of the deadly mutations then they use a different more directed chemo and often force stem cell transplants. If she is over 60 they often use venetoclax with other drugs just to give a few extra years of life. Some respond some do not.

My mom died 8/23/2019 after being diagnosed on 7/10/2019 with AML & She died in my arms at home at age 62 😢 I wish this was around 😢
