FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA is at the core of the ZIONIST PROJECT : MOSHE MACHOVER

  • Today I speak to one of the foremost expert on zionism, Moshé Machover, the last surviving signatory of the statement below, published on 22nd September 1967 in Haaretz.
“Our right to defend ourselves from extermination does not give us the right to oppress others. Occupation leads to foreign rule. Foreign rule leads to resistance. Resistance leads to repression. Repression leads to terror and counter-terror. The victims of terror are mostly innocent people. Holding on to the occupied territories will turn us into a nation of murderers and murder victims. We must leave the occupied territories immediately.”
We talk about the current massacre in Gaza, about how we got here, but also about the core of the zionist project, and the difference between anti-zionism and anti-semitism.
A must listen to. (and I'm not only saying this because i've conducted the interview!)

Frank, seems like YT is shadow banning this video. I guess due to the title, what with the many reports of comments using these words being removed instantly. Owen Jones just posted an interview with Moshé Machover's son Daniel, about the South African document, which led me to search for this one in my watch history list and it wasn't visible there. I had to go to your YT home page to dig it out of your list of videos. Right now it's back in my History list, with the date I first watched it (17 Nov). Wonder how long it'll stay there.

Israel must actually roll back to the original 1947 partition plan of the UN. The 1947 plan was terribly unfair to the Palestinians for the time. But injustice after injustice has engulfed them for so many years that the 1947 partition plan would look like some godsend now. The 1967 borders are too little, too late. East Jerusalem and complete autonomy over Al Aqsa mosque must also be reconstituted.

    • @dudz82
      @dudz82 Před 10 měsíci

I completely agree. I don’t understand why people seem to think the 1967 “borders” are the solution. They certainly are not because the Palestinian people overwhelmingly would not agree with them and never agreed to them. A few corrupt Palestinian “leaders” never spoke for the majority (until now - ie the resistance).

Nothing short of all Palestine should be fair. If the post 1881 settlers want to stick around, they can but only after giving back everything they stole and paying reperations for the Palestinians.
The country should have one national identity with equal status to all religions, that national identity is Palestinian Arab.

Moshe explained well the Zioinist colonialism and ethnic cleansing for Eretz Israel. His terminology of surrogate mother is interesting. He is right in saying that the main supporter and abettors of the cruel apartheid regime called Israel is the US, especially since the mid sixties; Britain and the rest of Europe just follows suit. He pointed out an important facet of the British politics, where both the Conservative and the Labour parties play second fiddle to their hegemonic master, the US, whose political control is also diminishing following the humiliating defeat in Afghanistan. The Siviets met a similar fate, but wisely reconciled with it. US is remorseless on the other hand. The deceptive collusion between the Conservative and Labour parties politics is well concieved by the fact that in the mid seventies, Heath and Wilson got drunk at the same Bar in the evening and issued opposing statements in the morning newspapers! What a mockery, what deceit, and what an hypocrisy!

Dear Frank, thank you for bringing us more knowledge. I hope some day you also interview regular people and allow us to talk to israeli brothers and sisters. I feel a responsibility to help them see the truth and error of their ways. The world will undoubtedly will side with Palestinian struggle as the scene in Gaza gets worse and worse. What's also important is to reach out to Israelis because they're rendered incapable due to years of propaganda in their ears. I can't stop thinking about the future of the jewish people as well. Imagine a future where they're marked with not only Holocaust victims but also the supporters of genocide on Palestinians. This is recipe for antisemitism. So I wish there was a platform for knowledgeable regular people to directly speak their minds with kindness and contribute to unification of human values in all minds.

The State of Israel has expanded exponentially following wars initiated by the neighboring countries, together! as a result of which the refugees were also created. Were Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon and the other armed forces, who initiated the wars, required to take responsibility for authorizing the war? No. Only Israel is slandered as 'Colinist'. However, Israel made peace with Egypt and Jordan, returned land and manages 'cold' neighborly relations, but they exist and work!

Before states were established, people lived there. You can call them Palestinians or Bedouins, it does not matter.
They cultivated the land, they built homes, they had shops and built villages.
      They lived there for generations.
They lived there under the Ottoman Rule, then under the British and French Mandate.
      No one kicked them out.
The Zionists come and kick out 750,000 people and block them from returning to their homes (in 1948). Then they kick out another 1 million people and block them from returning to their homes (in 1967).
      ~~
      Are you defending such action?
Are you really suggesting that other nations should take them in?
Are you in favor of strong militaries taking over weaker populations and settling it as they wish?
      ~~
      The Nazis tried that
No one supports this sort of occupation and apartheid.
No one except the perpetrators of the crime.

Speaking of needing some education. Living in the land was conditional and based on obedience to God. They were removed from the land not once but twice due to idolatry and disobedience. The last removal was in 70 AD and their temple was destroyed. It is God who exiled them from the land and only when God allows can they come back. God has a plan to bring them back but they have been deceived into coming back by the Zionist, not God. It’s like a child who is being punished determining for himself when his punishment is going to end. It’s not going to go so well. In God’s timing He told them in the scriptures that he would bring them back into their land in peace. Israel has had no peace from day one from their enemies because they chose to override God’s timing and reclaimed land before God allowed.

No, he gave it to the ‘slaves’ of the ‘peoples of Egypt’ after they followed Moses to live in the Desert for 40 years because they refused the Torah. Do you think that this ‘history of slavery’ made it more acceptable to make God or a religion a landlord?
My last question is in 2 parts, if God (magic sky fairy) made the slaves of the Egyptians the ‘chosen people’ why then can men and women convert to Judaism and also pro create with people/ religions that were not ‘chosen?
      Shalom
