Being African I always had earth colours. Last year we moved into a new house and everyone around had white or grey decor, from the front door right through the living areas. I was the only one with the browns and oranges. Guess I was preparing for the last couple of decades. Lol.
IKEA is a family joke…we love ikea but between the shopping carts that do a 360 and the endless road from start to exit…we order online. Thank you for doing this video. I already put in an order while watching. I love that couch with the functional back pillows. I ordered the yellow chair. I have a breakfast nook that was created with a tulip table, two 3 foot long upholstered storage benches…it needed this pop of color. I love your decor in your home. My decor is the complete opposite. I have bright yellow, orange, navy, emerald green…black and white flooring…4 different completely covered gallery walls….eclectic…is the word.
Great tour. Those curtain room dividers remind me of patient rooms in a hospital so that's one item I would not personally be getting!!

In particular, I like the way you film using "slow pans" and "slow zooms"... which is relaxing and calming on the eyes. Your background music and commentary is gentle yet upbeat. Great video even though I don't like new 2023 trends and colors. It's to vibrant and colorfull for my taste
I think the curtain rod room divider..reminds me of a hospital room.That being said you do a great job :)
Would you please consider doing a segment on television placement in bedroom and living room as well as small appliance placement in the kitchen? I struggle with these. Especially when it comes to not making the tv the focus of the room but still wanting it to be located in a place where people are not straining to watch.
I don't usually like these kinds of videos because the host spends too much time talking and not enough of content, but this is fantastic -- there are tons of options shown and the commentary is meaningful. Great job!! So helpful.

It seems IKEA has slowly increased their prices on the furniture.
Slowly but surely, it is far from affordable nowadays.
Slowly? In 2021 the hemnes line was only a few steps above budget and it's gone up $100+ for each item
What do you expect! The cost of everything has gone up around the world in the last couple of years, why should they be any different!

The quality has not increase
The swivel chair reminds me of the Lunna chair that has been out of the collection for many years
You should frame that Polaroid of the chalk wall and put it as a little piece of decor on the shelf. 😊
For those chairs where the neck leans forward... please buy with caution. It WRECKED my neck after sitting there longer than a half hour. Also the Manhult chairs are $85... I wish they came in black. Thanks for the tour!

I'm not fond of MDF and not at those prices. I walk my dog every day so most of my better furnishings were free; lazyboy recliner, leather loveseat, wood dressers, etc. The Lord smiles on me. Plus it helps to own a pickup, a paintbrush, and a sewing machine.

4:04 I'm so glad they brought this style back! I have the Lunna from 10 years ago. It's held up and it's so comfortable! I was sad they discontinued it before I could get the matching ottoman. The leather ones seem like an elevated version of that.

I went to ikea many years ago and never went again because I felt like a mouse in a maze with no way out. Since watching your channel my mindset has changed and I even convinced my husband to go with me. Though we have never taken to their restaurant.

$85.00 for the dining room chairs rather than $35.00 you mentioned. 😊 I’m intrigued by the little shelf unit with the clamp that can go in between pieces or against the wall. Always need more storage for my office/craft room! Love your tours and ideas - thank you!

I have a Billy bookcase & wonder if those blue doors would fit? I just ordered a new blue couch to go with my tan/cream chair & think that would make it a new living storage unit. Very excited to see.

I want the Dytag cushion cover ( to change the look of my throw pillow), the Kallax base on legs ( already have the Kallax) & Tolkning rattan headboard. I have the Caspar mattress on a platform & need a headboard.
ikea is getting quite expensive. their couch prices are the same as the Pottery Barn. and for $1200 I think I would prefer Pottery barn quality.

One never ceases to be amazed by the things one gets at IKEA and other online stores. I just ordered a Barcelona chair from Manhattan Home Design because I always liked that design but never had the opportunity to find it at a good price. Thank you very much for the reviews! 🥂✨

Love your tips on colour choices. Particularly the reference to the chair looking more of a high end choice if you consider a less bold colour choice. I absolutely love watching your video’s, I always finish watching with a new decor idea 😊
Thanks for sharing with her new interior designs are I just wish I had one closer all four that are here in Texas are a minimum of four hours away but maybe seeing some of the new designs might be worth a trip one weekend. I do wish you would show a little bit more of the designs that they’re doing in the kitchen. I am looking for some ideas and the way IKEA does their layouts. They have some really neat because not only do they have the closed off. They have the open concepts as well so maybe next time you’re and you could share a little bit more of their kitchen Reno’s that they have it for 2023 again, thank you. Happy New Year’s.
