the dripping water can be solved by placing the slabs on the bottom half (so there is a gap between them and the waterlogged leaves) or if you use optifine u can turn off dripping water/lava in the optifine settings

so glad to see you back & very excited to watch this series. the mining transitions from the basic base to it transformed was beautiful
for the roof you could make it a sort of lush cave kinda build and use the flowers that hang from the ceiling and the water from the leaves could also help enhance the overall appearence of the rooms
For the cave you found while traveling, I would instantly want to build rope bridges between all those stone pics, not sure of the purpose but it could looks cool!
I'm also kinda obsessed with cave/ravine villages, with houses build in and from the walls, with bridges linking them and a vibe kinda like a mineshaft? with more hanging plants I think
I clicked on the video like this was a normal occurrence, and immediately was like “wait a minute” IM GLAD TO SEE YOURE BACK!!!

I think you should name the cobblestone pillar Harold The King Ladder
Also I recommend for one corner do an animal farm, a villager trading hall for another, do a library for another, and for the last a crafting, smelting and storage area with a nether portal. but it's just my opinion and recommendation.
i am exited for this new series and i cant wait to see the reveal from the top of the ladder!

I would recommend instead of splitting the circle of crops into quarters, instead split them into rings so the colors go all the way around, gives a less choppy appearance from above.

in one of the corners you could put a library with viligers and enchanting areas (ladder)
For the dripping you can do complex roof with decorations and pillars to cover the waterlogs.
I'm pretty sure that sheep need an open grass for wool, just in case ;)
You should make one of the corners like a magic themed area with obsidian obelisks and your enchant table (make sure to use LADDER)
It’s been five months since the last video but this hardcore world build seems like it would take me at least five months. Super good build so I’ll let the time gap slide but we’re gonna need at least a vid a week for a while

1. Replace your fenceposts with glass panes and/or cover the openings to caves with glass blocks

Hi kiing i was thinking that in one of the rooms you could let the water for the wheat farm flow down and let them be waterfalls and put glass around them. Put villager trading hall in one of the quarters of the circle on the surface of the base, that way, they’re close to the surface for easier transportation, and it would fit

If you want to stop mobs from spawning on the parts going down to the mineshaft you can put string on all of the spawnable parts. You won’t be able to tell it’s there and it will prevent the spawning. I use that trick all the time for my builds

Good my heart everytime you water bucketed down :S Finely you added the Ladder tho xP yes it takes a bit longer, but its safer xP
For the ceiling where you have the waterlogged leaves going on, I'd make a bushy, green ceiling design, mimicing how it feels to be in a Lush Cave, I do this alot in my worlds, ever sinds the cave update came out, I highly recommend it, it looks so amazing!
For your awesome cobblestone pillar with the tall ladder, I'd call it "Bungy" as in Bungy-Jumping. Sinds you seem to really like to climb all the way up there, just to jump off of it, and then later you climb back up again :p
Keep it up dude, proud of ya for getting right back to work again after being sick, but do take the rest you need, when you need it, oke? :)

you should name the cobblestone tower: "Death's Ladder."
if you want a more PG version of that then you can call it "Heaven's Tower"
Also, if you want to survive explosions better, you only take explosion damage at your feet, so make sure you have a block infront of your feet and you'll take little to no damage
