I think this may be my new favorite 45-70 ❤. What did you think about it? I hope you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching!
Love ur content man, keep up the damn work!
❤
It's dope, how about a 45-90
❤
Mama please
Scott is single handedly keeping the folding table and chronograph businesses alive
Yes, and he's also keeping the growing furby population at bay.

Gotta wonder how much of his budget is guns/ammo vs tables vs ballistic gel vs grey poupon vs furbies
It’s always a good idea to watch until the end to see how Scott “cleans off” his folding table. This one definitely did not disappoint!
Leave no witnesses
Its imo actually a good gimmick to make people who barely watches, to come watch the video for the intro and also ro keep people watching til the end for him cleaninh the table
Bruv when he drove in with the special truck this time lololol
Scott you're by far the best Guntuber out there - I really appreciate your humor, the amount of knowledge you drop, the guns you use and of course the way you display it all. All gentle and fun. Best luck for you!
I like how he chastised himself in the name of safety. I really appreciate discipline in the gun community when it comes to safety.
well when you take a gun (part) to the neck, you might be a bit more safety conscious.
Meanwhile over on Demo ranch...... @_@
@@s0mveraawell, that guy's a doctor. ish.
hard ish i'd say lol@@RobKinneySouthpaw
And then he walks under the crane after hoisting a load. Major safety violation.
I've never thought of suppressing a lever gun but it actually makes a ton of sense 🤔
Have you seen .38 special suppressed in a lever action? Sick as hell.
@@bird289 I haven't, I'll check it out. Isn't 38spcl supersonic though?
I don't know why I would put a suppressor on my lever gun it is to much work when I could put it on an A.R or something like that.
@demertechofficial4044 I think it's right on the line where some loads are and some aren't. Couldn't tell you for sure tho.
@@texasminetester6291 Check out the Keymo system from Deadair. It is a QD system that locks up tight. I use my Sandman (30 caliber) and Wolfman (355 caliber) suppressors on a Marlin 336 lever action and many semi-autos. You just have to buy a Keymo muzzle brake for each rifle.
Hello, I am Korean and I got to know this channel through CZcams recommendations. The gun explosion was a terrible accident and I was shocked to see this video. I'm happy to see you in a healthy and bulletproof suit, and please continue to pay more attention to safety accidents and make good videos. Thank you.
He blows up his guns on purpose now.
The inside the car part was interesting. For the suppressed, all you really hear is the "thunk" of the bullet hitting the car, but never really hear the shot itself.
yeah if you were 100 or 200 yards out, they'd never know where it was coming from
For real, yet i could still hear the lever/bolt loading the next round lol
@@iTzLagz1995regardless if you could hear the lever action or not you wouldn’t peak your head out to see where it is 😂
I love how random yet creative the end table sequences bit are. The crane is quite amazing. Thanks Scott
We Need a 45-70 ar15
I think my favorite so far was the wrecking ball a couple videos back.
The slow mo of the table hitting the ground with the water jugs still in the air was awesome.
😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
I love you, I love your channel, I love your sense of humor, I love how you make me laugh, and most of all, I love your passion for life and enjoying it. I am a disabled combat veteran and I suffer from major depression and struggle with not wanting to live every day. The 15 or 20 minutes of watching your videos really does lift my mood even if just by a bit sometimes it helps me keep moving forward just another day on this rock. Thank you for a reason to be here another day. God Bless You and I am so thankful that you survived your accident and are continuing to spread joy around the world.
God bless you too Jeff, hope you had a nice Labor Day 🤘🏼 stay strong brother ❤️
Scott's zest for life is an example to us all. Keep going my friend. Keep talking. Strangers care more than you realise.
Jeff,
We are stronger in our numbers than statistics want to show.
Don't be a statistic.
Make a friend that can make you laugh even when not trying to do so....like a dog, for one example.
You are useful and appreciated in spite of what you may think or feel.
Hang around for more of Scott's vids and to see what Brandon Herrera can do in Congress!
Thank you for your service ,stay strong please for what it’s worth
Your videos have always helped me! Currently, I have it on as background noise while I finish up paperwork for my college scholarship, I've been a fan of you for a couple years now and have always enjoyed your videos. I loved that even after everything that's happened in my life, I could go home and watch a Kentucky Ballistics video. I hope you have a great day, and a great rest of your life! ❤
You found a unique identity and you embrace it. A veteran with war scars from an extra spicy meatball that hates furbys, destroys folding tables, and loves their crane. And I love every bit of it
Veteran?
He was in law enforcement for awhile, but I don't think he was in the military.
He isnt a veteran
Scott, you have quickly become my favorite CZcams creator. I love your sense of humor and the creativity you put into your videos. Keep going strong bro!
yeah, his opening skits are always good. i must have seen a few hundred by now - it's amazing how many ideas he comes up with for them, i'd have run out ages ago but not scott! 😃
45-70 is one of the lever actions I've always wanted. Such a sweet rifle
I want one, though I'll probably need shoulder surgery after firing it 🤣
@@lonewolf0712 it's really not that bad, especially shooting subsonic rounds. standing up, it really isnt much worse that 12 guage slugs, with standard 300grn ammo
I liked it so much l got a pistol to match.
@@Cloth_Gloves yeah, but note I weigh like 120ibs at 5'11". I'm trying to put on weight, but in sure it wouldn't feel good on me 🤣
@@lonewolf0712 Still not an issue. Now yes, a 10 inch .45-70 revolver is quite a handful. But once you're up to lever gun size, it's got a kick but still quite manageable.
Scott’s impressions on every character never fails to make me laugh😂
Filming from inside of the car actually ended up being pretty insightful. 👍
If you are in that car you would have absolutely no clue where the shots are coming from. Lol I'm pretty surprised that 45-70 can get that quiet.
Something I noticed while watching is that the sub-sonic rounds are actually very visible in the slow motion captured where as the standard/super-sonic are typically not besides a few select frames. Thought it was neat to see the path the bullet took.
Subsonic ammo don't pose any danger as it is soo slow! It's literally a plastic bbgun
Very cool indeed.
@@Kawka1122 I wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of one, it would still ruin your day real quick.
I'm assuming this is mostly due to the super sonic wake causing a disturbance in the light reflected back to your eye whereas the subsonic don't create that supersonic wake allowing more light to reflect directly back to your eye.
This is a perfect example of why you need to bring the old school pine boards back. I would be more interested in how a subsonic round stacks up against a supersonic round.
Either way, you’re gonna have a bad day…
@@ginaparker-langleyoh
Eeesh ok @@ginaparker-langley
You remember when he tried breaking those boards by headbutting them? I miss the old days, but I still love the new content!!

Scott is the best gun guy on CZcams that's currently making content, such a good dude who doesn't over do the entertainment aspect. Just gets straight to the point with the content & keeps me informed along with highly entertained every video. I love you to death my guy
0:03 Adventures with scooter 😂😂😂
The inside of the car with the subs hitting was even more terrifying than the supers IMO 😮
Can't even tell ur being shot just from audio, or from where
You could hear the impact, reload, and their voice better than the round itself.
@@Anti-Smart yes, hearing a normal voice more clearly than a rifle discharge is terrifying.
The sound of those rounds hitting the car windows is terrifying.
Good thing he didn't put the mustard inside, there would be Poupon everything 😂😂😂
And he’s louder than the gun. “ one more”
The sound of those rounds hitting the car windows is terrifying.. Scott is single handedly keeping the folding table and chronograph businesses alive.
The textbook example of "living my best life". Great vid brother
I loved this episode. It felt like all the Kentucky ballistics greatest hits ❤❤❤
That faint little "almost knocked me off my tailgate" from inside the car is actually pretty scary too combined with the gunfire.
This man and this channel are absolute national treasures
"It's WATERMELON TIIIIIME!!!!" I've always loved that 😂
We need a “cooking with Scott” series where he preps food with firearms
I don't know where the "you just got jammed"clip comes from but it never fails to make me smile.

Scott, your videos are an absolute riot. They always make me laugh and smile, thank you for being such a wonderful part of my day
That 4570 was sweet but the fact that you bought a giant truck with a crane on it just to destroy tables is freaking amazing. Hats off
my man here has been doing these videos for many years now and for those who have been he from the start know that this man deserved the subscribers and from a gun he was shooting almost 3 or 4 years ago that almost ended his life please do him a huge favor and subscribe instead of passing this man on by lets get kentucky ballistics all the way to 10 million subs.
love you my man and hope that your accident never happens again and stay safe!!! 😁😁😁
Big respect from across the pond 🙏
Always liked the 45/70, and that was fun! Thanks Scott!
lets take some time to appreciate how much work and effort he puts into these videos
🤖🤖🤖
🎉🎉🎉
I know a guy who bought a chronograph. The very first day he got it, his brother shot it! Destroyed it completely, surprisingly he didn’t punch his brother in the nose.
Ok bot
I took 19 minutes and 52 seconds to appreciate it. How much more is required?
Scott is channeling his inner Gallagher in overdrive this episode!!!😂 Actually has the 🔨!
Your videos are always great and uplifting! They just cheer me up on rough days! Love ya brother!
With all the "Poupon" jokes I was sure there would be a comment about how your were going to "Peas" on the table! lol! 😁
One tip for everyone to add a bit more entertainment. After watching Scott's Slow-mo shots, back up the video and change the playback speed to .25 speed and it's kind of like having "The Slow Mo Guys" Super slow video playing and you get to see even more detailed splatters!
All in all that's about 3K for everything which to be honest is not bad for such a badass rifle! The Model X has been on my bucket list but now I know what accessories I want! 🔥
That's crazy even the difference you can hear just between the 1st sub round & the 2nd after depleting what oxygen was in the baffles
its not depletint oxygen that doesnt make any sense at all. if there is a low pressure zone in the ocean of an atmosphere we live in it will relatively 'immediately' be equalized.. common exceptions we see might be the low pressures zones visibly maintained in front of large turbofan engines or on top of aerodynamic surfaces of flying aircraft
@@byloyuripka9624 the powder continues to burn and release gas into the suppressor, filling it. Quick follow up shots are actually quieter, but increases pressure in the system, a real world problem for anything with automatic cycling.
Smokeless powder is 'rich' and doesn't contain enough oxygen to completely burn, when you fire the muzzle blast contains significant amounts of flammable gases, mostly carbon monoxide and hydrogen.
The first shot 'pop' is the oxygen in the suppressor igniting those gases coming out of the barrel, kind of like a car backfiring. It happens unsupressed too, but the gunshot is loud enough to drown it out.
Scott....
FYI: lava lamps....
Just so you know, the lava in lava lamps is a type of paraffin wax. The liquid around it, at the blobs swirl through, is a type of flammable oil....that was actually kind of on the dangerous side to shoot.
See the episode of mythbusters where they deal with lava lamps....

EDIT: FINALLY another nacho cheese moment!
You are an encyclopedia of knowledge towards tools of self defence and beyond, with your Bro Scooter at your side what could possibly go wrong, a great recipe of good humour and a sprinkling of experienced professionalism, Great content and entertainment, OAP in the UK.
“Adventures with scooter” I laughed so hard for some reason.
Scott’s impressions on every character never fails to make me laugh. We need more lever action content!REPEATERS ARE AWESOME!.
I love lever action rifles, they have that classic wild west vibe to them. Never thought silencing a lever action would make that much of a difference
Why wouldn't it? Heck, the action locks up tighter than a semi-auto, since it isn't sending gasses back through the action and out.
Scott, I need to see you try out a 500 Bushwacker! T2 armory converts BFR revolvers to chamber it, and you can still shoot 500 magnum in it. To my knowledge the 500 Bushwacker is the most powerful handgun round in existence
I'm pretty sure he has shot elephant pistols with even more power. Those are single-shot though, so it could be the most powerful revolver.
Maybe try a double barrel derringer in 50BMG?
Makes me want to ramp up my 45-70 ammo reloading, Scott! Thanks from Goleta California for yet another great video!😄
dude u got a great sense of humour, never change
As always, Scott, you never let me down. I absolutely love the gray Poupon jokes scooter is a classic 45/70 lever action. Tactical is impressive.
Always bringing us something interesting. Thank you, Mr. Scott. I hope you are having a good Labor Day!
Table outro shot was EPIC!
I simply cannot state well enough, how much I LOVED seeing the table move out from under the 5 gallon jugs so quickly that it looked like, as in an episode of road-runner - or any cartoon, really - the 5 gallon jugs were simply unable to obey the laws of gravity, until they had fully understood that they should, in fact, by all means, be falling down now...
There are a lot of videos that show unsupressed vs suppressed ammo. Not a lot that actually do a good job showing the difference.
This was a very good video. Especially the part shooting at the car.
Lever actions are timeless, and this video only further proves that point.
Hey Scott! Those are some truly great looking rifles. I'm curious as to the weight difference between the two. The all weather just looks so solid!
I have a citadel levtac in 45lc with the same stock, a couple quivers and a red dot and it’s ~9-10 pounds

I really enjoy your videos, Scott. I appreciate you sharing your talents and abilities with us, your viewers.
More than three Okiee Dokiees in one video. Scott is now an honourary Canadian. Great Video!
The tactical lever action is something I need in my life.Looks like it's fun to plink around with.Great video.
It’s not really that useful from a tactical perspective. It’s just as you said, a different toy to plink around with and show off to your friends, or maybe a rifle for someone who needs the added ergonomics for hunting.
To me it doesn’t make a lot of sense to add to the collection or spend any money on, but to each their own. If it makes you happy, enjoy.
Well if your a hunter in war or sharpshooter it would be a great choice. Depends how close you want to get.
@@ThePoisonedReaper Not really. Semiautomatic is the way to go for everything tactical. Also 45-70 is not an ideal cartridge for a number of reasons. I’m not saying it won’t work, but you could perform far better with an AR10 or something similar in that situation.
"This is pretty much useless information but I think it's going to be pretty cool." Lol and that is why this channel is great 😂
