Thank you, for climbing small tires or dual motors are the way to go. I have had some problems with the Futecher Gun that I'll detail in a coming video. The Vsett's seem quite solid.
Thanks and welcome! I don't really have an opinion between those as of yet. I do like the LG cells and any branded cells above the generic cells. I know some folks like the generic ones fine but I have found the best results from LG, Pano, and Samsung, in no particular order.
Hello, nice video ! Can I use excerpts from the video (without sound) to illustrate what I'm saying in my video? This is for a french presentation video. Thank you for your reply. Yours sincerely 😉
Jim, have you tested the E-Twow GT up this hill? Curious to see how it compares to this group of tested scooters which all seem to fall under similar nominal power ratings.
@Collins Lo, yes I have, it is my hill I test everything on. The E-Twow GT made it up in 19.2 seconds so slower than everything in this video. Before looking at the data I wouldn't have thought it was slower, but that's why I love data!
Hi! nice comparison. Do you think rear motor Vsett 9 power is enough for daily use? I want to get an upgrade from my Xiaomi M365 pro in terms of max speed and hill climbing peak power and i am thinking about this vsett model. Thanks
I think the Vsett 9 works for most but if you really want hill climbing power you need 2 motors and the Vsett 9+ is about the smallest dual motor option out there. I haven't tried a M365 but I'd imagine max speed would favor the Vsett single motor but hill climbing might be pretty close. Hopefully that helps!
awesome Jim! You have a Hill of Death too :) :) Surprised at how slow the Vsett 9R was on the hill...I thought it would be similar to the Speedway Cheers
please tell me how the futecher gun is i could get a used one for like 800 but idk if its worth it over a 9+ money is DEF in the question lol so idk. and id have like around 7 months left on the warranty if i buy the used futecher, is it a fast scooter? im coming from a gotrax 350w rear motor 20mph max it has a 10.8ah battery lol...
I would personally take the 9+ over the Futecher. It is more compact, better ride, basically same weight, and with dual motors faster. Both of these will blow your GoTrax away, so happy scootin' whichever way you go! Watch out for warranty transfers, almost no companies will honor it, unless you get it from a dealer. Thanks
@@ElectronSurfer loving the futecher gun pro. didnt like how to front drum brake is kept in placve though.... bored a 10mm hole and fitted a nut into the U joint into the slot and now its solid as hell. Loving it so far. put about 180 miles on it.
I am still waiting on a front wheel bearing repair, hopefully I will get it next week so I can range test it before doing my full review. The new models sometimes have a few growing pains and this one certainly seems to. I'll make sure and cover that when I review it.
Hello do you think that the futecher gun pro is powerfull enough to climb big hills ? I ask you this because I do not have enough money to buy the vsett 9 bi motors. Thank you for this test !
@@ElectronSurfer I understand I really do. I live Cardiff Wales UK an hill's are everywhere. As most video's i watch are done on the flat or a slight incline but there's not a lot of CZcams video about e-scooters from the where I live. I do like your video's an u can't help not having a big hill to test them on. I have a Carrera impel Is-1 electric scooter. It's got no suspension but air filled tyre's so avoid bumps. It's a gr8 scooter for its money it's built strong it's got a nice look an front an back disk brakes cable. Nice display an power is gr8 for what it is. Top speed 15.5 with 4 preset speeds/gears. Built in code an alarm. Power 350W continues an 600w peak. Rear wheel hub motor it can Wheely but only if u try to. Easy an strong folding. Thank you. Ps. If I was in future to get a bigger scooter witch 1 out of these two would you get get for a every day rider. 1, vseet9+2021 or 2, apollo phantom2021. I like these scooter for many things but 1 thing is there's no need to go over 40mph an an scooter.
Great comparison video, the Vsett 9+R and Futcher Gun look like the standouts!

@@ElectronSurfer Looking forward to your next video :)
@@ElectronSurfer Out of the two Vsett Scooters in this video, do you prefer the dual-motor one?
@@nicolewilson3886 I prefer the rear motor option, I dont ride fast and do a ton of hills. I like the slightly less torrid acceleration....
@@ElectronSurfer Thank you for sharing :)
Just came over from a response I posted and liked your channel man. New subber. Cheers.
Great to have you here, thanks a bunch!
@@ElectronSurferhow steep was the hill? Don’t think you mentioned that as far as I can tell
@@emilsecker7881 It is 8°/14%, steeper than it looks on video.

It was pretty surprising, it's always fun when the data shows something you don't expect. Well fun to me, but I'm different!

That's not a hill. Put the scooters to real work. Try on a 25 to 35 degree gradient.
I can only ride up what I have here to work with. A 25 degree hill is very steep, there are only a few hills in San Francisco over 30 degrees!
