An overencumbered player can sit in a cart and his weight will NOT be counted as load of the cart. So two persons can haul huge amounts of stuff with one cart.
Oooh I totally forgot about that! That sounds like a great strat for land transport. A whole inventory of metal xD Turn the player into a treasure chest !
Thanks for making content for us immersive / no portals players. There are dozens of us!
Bajajaja I love it, yes, there are dozens of us xD
Look at you destroying the boat moving the carts around..... a good storm making the carts bouncing around, either breaking your ship or bouncing out of the boat...... This is an extreme gamble activity. totally not worth it... Glad you mentioned the multiplayer aspect. I'v seen whole ships go down and players rage quit the game for months.
edit: DING!!! you just said the above.
Thanks for watching the video :) Most people just comment after watching a minute or two and assume I never say anything jajaja
Good video dude, this will help for moving my metal over oceans, I got a mountain base, but I also got another base and I need to get metal moved other to another base, so this'll help thanks
I love hauling, its too fun xD
Flip technique is cool!
Its the most convenient one imo :)
@JPValheim I've broken loaded carts and used the crates as extra storage both at my base and on the boat. Sor the boat, I never tried such high weights. What are your thoughts on this?
The cargo crates have very low HP and unfortunately get damaged by the waves and are unrepairable. I found it to be unviable personally
@@JPValheim Thank you
Good video
Glad you enjoyed ! Im obsessed with carts
Pounds??? or Kilograms?
I probably said the wrong one, whatever unit of measurement the cart and ship shows xD
@@JPValheim Just playing, it’s probably Stone.
Just make a road for the carts
Carts are awesome agreed xD
With the first one im like... Why chest when you can just drop iy
You can only drop metal if you are in a flat area; if you are in a mountain or somewhere dangerous; then the metal can easily fall when you throw it and its tricky to manage. Thats why its easiest to make a series of chests; you can use the same strategy near water, in the mountains, etc. If you just toss it, you cant do that near deeper water, or in the slopes. Your right though, if you are near a flat area you can just dump it
and then your boxes get destroyed by random animals.... in support of your point, might have removed those few seconds. Unless that was the silent disclaimer ;)
I tested a bunch and never had any luck with the crates, I dont like how they arent repairable xD They just break and drop metal into the ocean. Owww
I did this with a lox worked untill he wanted to kill what was on the shore
Bajajaja sounds like the same as wolves then! Great until they see a threat
Cool, but seems super annoying. Maybe there is a mod for it?
I dunno, this is my favorite part of no portal. The adventures that come from hauling goods and protecting them are incredibly fun. Sooo not annoying at all xD If it annoying to you, just play with portals :)
There's a mod for ships with a lot more cargo, that might help.
