I think it must be the driver in me, but I felt genuine anxiety any time the video was pointed towards the water and not looking at the road ahead! But thank you and your hubby for taking the time to make the drive and film this for us!
Even as a passenger, I feel anxiety looking over the side of the bridge! :) Thanks for watching, Lori!
Oh My!!! What a wonderful idea. Thanks so much for sharing. That’s a LOT of water & bridge. Wow! I sure hope you wear a life jacket when traveling it. Lol.
You know, if I wore a life jacket, I might actually feel a lot better when we're driving over it. Haha! :)
It really is a stunning view! Thanks for making the video for us.
My pleasure! Thanks for watching! :)
Growing up in Severna Park I remember this drive well!
I know Severna Park! Such a pretty area - love Kinderfarm Park, and all the goats they have there! (I've always wanted a goat!) Thanks for watching! :)
My goodness- that's a seriously long time to try to hold my breath. Crossing that bridge is hairy enough, but there were signs for construction works! It was broken! If that were me, the glare from my white knuckles would be reflecting on the window, so you were an absolute legend to do this for us. Props to the Mr, too.
As horrific as it was, I think a tunnel would be worse. If I fell into a river I could swim. If a river fell onto me, well...
What was the sign for avoiding fine and using headlights about? Tell me there are street lights on it, please.
I don't recall that sign, but I'm sure it is well lit... I hope. I really hate driving over it at night (or BEING DRIVEN over it, as is the case with me.) If I ever hit 10,000 subscribers and have to follow through on my promise to drive over it myself, you can be sure it will be in daylight! :) Thanks for watching!
This is giving me flashbacks of the numerous trips to OC with my friends. 🦀
I love going to OC! :)
@@KateAsterAuthor can you send me some Thrasher’s? 🍟 😂
Ooooh... yummmmm! Now I'm craving some Thrasher's too! :)
From the passenger point of view this is very relaxing and so beautiful. Unfortunately, I'm usually the one driving and once we get over the water - I'm looking at the road ahead. Cape Cod also has a two-way bridge that makes me edgy at times, too. It's too narrow to be two ways! I'd save money on coffee if I drove over more bridges :) lol
It's good to hear I'm not alone! That Cape Cod one sounds scary. :) Thanks for watching.
I am afraid of heights. I hate bridges. I am one of those people that will grip the steering wheel and go myself. I know what I will do on the road. Not sure what the other person driving will do.So I am also a control freak. I have driven over the Sky Bridge in Chicago, IL. That was scary. Traffic backed up with constriction work and people getting off work to go home. Lanes closed and having to drive on the outside of the bridge.
Ugh - that sounds frightening! I've never driven over that bridge in Chicago, and now I know NOT TO! :) Thanks for watching, Janet!
