I WAS ABOUT TO COMMENT THAT, Honestly the dialogue might seem literally just murderous intent at first but WOW theres so much more to it, I love it. It's actually impressive how they portrayed it with just a few sets of lines

Hiro Kala I mean, regardless if they are cliché or not, they were absurdly well done, IN THE LEAST the voice actor nailed them. How he trails off into senseless laughter in the middle of phrases and really just the use of the right tone for every skewed thought from a man that’s been through A LOT was enough to get me thrilled! But really, to each his own alright

Jesus man they refined base Pyke's paranoia into something really special in this version. He was always just a bit unconvincing in his base skin but here you can feel the paranoid anger alongside the perfect little delicate drop of fear and confusion as well.
Thays because base pyke isn't/doesn't care worried about some things not adding when he recognizes someone while project pyke is

I get so many complaints whenever I go into a 8/0 kill streak from my ADC. "LEAVE ONE FOR ME!" Even though they are getting fed in a very safe way. This also goes for my jungler and the like, complaining that I'm KS'ing... but if anything, I'm making the team even stronger.

Pyke is SUPPOSED to be an insane serial killer who is drifting between reality and fiction. He believes everyone betrayed him, so he convinces himself that they were there! THIS is what Pyke should've been! Not the bounty hunter, but the "You look familiar..." drowned ghost of a man.
Original Pyke sounds like a sad bounty hunter who has a big never ending Revenge Arc.

This is one of the few interactions that left me really feeling something. The multiple mental disorders from schizophrenia to dementia to the memory loss felt so real it made me pity PROJECT:Pyke. Kudos to the voice actor for making a character come to life. Rewatching this really makes my heart chill.

This sentence really shows what Pyke's character is. He can feel his past slipping away almost as if something the programming is trying to make him forget all while he's trying desperately to cling onto what little sanity he has left "You're not real. None of this is real."
Truth is the code really does change them. With every upgrade they get the memories of the user before them. For example jhin has so many upgrades, he doesn't remember his real persona.
"none of this is real" refers to him being aware of the video game league of legends. He knows that this is a game that loops endlessly. A simulation

Apparently vayne used to be on the espionage team with kat and lead by zed, then vayne decided to escape with classified tech and become a vigilante. Apparently sometime before vayne left they fucked up pyke and either made him into a half-project monster or just destroyed him completely
when he said that he was dreaming of flowers after respawning, I teared up a little.
The whole skin has a tragic undertone to it... Kudos to the voice actor who really makes us feel that.
Project pyke is full of destroyed pieces from scraped projects betrayed by project all into 1 making him get this memory lapses and psychotic behaviour he wants revenge on the world for making him into an abommination

Only his cranium survived and he had to take all the parts he can to survive , but all the memories from these parts mixed with his and they all want one thing :REVENGE on those who destroyed them ( the faces )

A lot of PROJECT Pyke's voice lines reminds me of EMIYA Alter from F/GO
Both of them are "heroes" in a sense are are both so fundamentally broken that they can't even remember events that happened a couple of minutes ago, let alone their past. Both of them also have an initial motivation of vengeance, with Pyke against the Project corporation and EMIYA against Kiara.

The Project universe might be the best alternate universe Riot has created.
I think an actual alternate universe(with odyssey, darkstar, cosmic skins) is better
Well PROJECT is gonna be an exception since they are more PROJECT champs that haven't got release but sooner in the future,same as Pulsefire universe which is my least favorite.
Also Pyke fits in Praetorian aswell as PROJECT:Jayce (Legendary Skin) and PROJECT:Senna (Legendary Skin again) because it says that PROJECT is set to a Dystopian Future of Piltover and Zaun.
Not the best but on of the of the bests imo
I love how the little elements in Project: Pyke's design seems really like he was intentionally created to be the combination of all of Projects technology, the deadliest monster Project has ever created. His arm looks similar to Project: Vayne's technology, his spiky neck thing looks like from the old Project skins from Master Yi and Leona.
