This shit always freaked me out as a kid. Cell was so gruesome it was awesome
Do you think Perfect Cell’s jawline was Toriyama’s depiction of what a perfect jaw would look like?
No lol but the perfect chin strap yes
It's actually just a Team four Star thing lol
Thank Android 18 for that lol
All of the main villains had freeza's ears
@@amazingpig2562 Technically, movie Beerus was a main villain and he didn't.
Cell: has absorption/adaption ability
Deviantartist: gazes with eager eyes...
LMAO!!!!
@@Geekdom101 That's the internet for you. Always ready to create cringe.
“Looks like it’s a job for me!”
So true for artists who have other ideas
Yeah, I was just thinking about that, that this is probably one of the leading factors that inspired vore delinquents to become what they are. Ew, icky.
Had a theory about the androids inside Cell for a while, especially after I remembered that moment where Goku blew Cell's head off and he still survived. My theory is that Gero had found a way to replicate capsule technology at the biological level. So when each android was absorbed into him, Cell's body acted as a giant capsule and shrunk them down to a cellular size, where they were attracted to and attached to his nucleus, which maintained their tiny size while attached. His nucleus was its own unique cell and could travel anywhere in Cell's body at lightning speed. This would have been an alteration made by Gero to improve Piccolo's regeneration ability so that even losing one's head isn't an instant death, its too easy a liability. So if each android is attached to the nucleus and said nucleus can dash anywhere in the body, it would explain how the androids were never damaged even when Cell's limbs were destroyed. And the nucleus' "home" in the body could have been the stomach, the center of the body so that it could optimize its reaction time and dodge efficiently. This is why when Gohan elbowed Cell in the stomach, 18 was regurgitated. The nucleus was probably hit without any time to react, dislodging 18, allowing her to begin returning to her original size thus initiating the puking sequence.
Only a theory but potentially sound; and relevant to this topic. =)
Makes sense, you can hear a "crunching" sound when 17 is absorbed which would fit.
That's not the impression I got, when Z characters take damage they lose energy. It looked like Gohan hit him so hard that his power level could no longer support the Androids and he had to spit one of them out.
I mean, when Goku hit Vegea in their first fight, he got rocked so bad that Goku no longer needed Kaioken to hurt him... not even Kaioken basic. Which means Vegeta was bellow Goku's 9,000 or lower ( given that Goku had to be losing energy in that fight too). And even Gohan could fight Vegeta after he lost Oozaru form.
It was stated that they are fused with Cell on a cellular level. So they aren't shrinking. It's basically an altered version of the Namekian fusion. Remember, Cell has Namekian cells.
@@Celestial_Wing Check out my comment above.
@@BoyKagome Check out my first comment.
cell's absorption was,is and always will be the most creepiest thing in the entire db franchise.
@cringebot2000 1.0 😂 who gives a fuck about grammar anyway
Nah the way moro straight up devours 73 takes the cake for me.
That and when Dr. Gero impaled Yamcha with his hand.
I mean, buus is also kinda horrific
@@leultrainstinct406 so vore?
It’s really amazing that Dr. Gero, an ordinary human, was able to create a living creature as complex as cell.
I wish we could have seen Dr. Gero interact with Cell, seeing and speaking to his perfect creation would be crazy. Cell would probably just destroy him though, but who knows, maybe not, maybe he would spare gero for giving him life, as he still has goku, gohan and all the human fighter’s cells. He might be forgiving as he achieved his perfect form lol
I gotta admit that the first time I seen Cell's absorption I was disgusted.
But perfect cell kinda humanized him and made me more comfortable
Yeah it’s pretty nasty
I was 7 yo when I saw that, it gave me nightmares
Years ago it was disgusting and horrifying if you're young (which I was around early teenager at least)
His absorbtions are like vacums
Remember kids, android 18 gave cell power and his looks, but 17 gave him power and LIPS.
.....Ok.....
Perfect jawline
17 gave him high speed dscell lol
I still can't imagine how Perfect Cell is not stronger than a Super Saiyan 2.
17 and 18 are stronger than a normal Super Saiyan before Vegeta and Goku trains on Hyperbolic time chamber.
And Cell 1st form is stronger than 17 and 18. Now
1st form Cell( stronger than ss1)
+
Android 17 ( stronger than ss1 as well)
+
Android 18 ( stronger than ss1 as well, break Vegeta's arms)
= Perfect Cell
Perfect Cell should be at least as strong as Super Saiyan 3 Goku.
@DRESDENEQUE !!!!!! Did you get my point? Why is he not stronger than ss2
When both super buu and cell first appeared, the thing that they did first was murder a man each, however the men were killed in two very different ways.
Super buu inflated a man by basically making the man sort of drink him in a way, causing that man to explode.
But cell did the opposite, he deflated the man by drinking(absorbing) the man.
How interesting.
Wow I never realized that
I realized that.
lol
Cell drank a man. Buu made a man drink him. A yin and yang.
I wonder if that was intentional or just coincidental writing
Every since Cell, every Villian has Had Absorbtion, Regeneration, and Mimicry, it’s played out now.
no lies detected
Goku Black didn't have absorption
@@lcc2348 yes but he had to steal someone else's body to get where he was
What else do you suggest?
If there's one thing that Cell is a pro at, it's "sucking."
Pause
Cell's absorption was so cool! He's to this date one of the best villains in fiction.
Cell has some creepy vibes of his origin & goal makes him even more interesting this make him one of my favorite villain of all time almost like frieza but in a different way
The horror and mystery elements used in the early parts of the cell saga were some of my favorite parts of watching it back in the nineties
I must say - design wise, semi perfect cell is pretty underrated
He looks meh. Perfect looks way better
@@Karmalu perfect looks better in my eyes too, its just that semi perfect is still decent in my opinion
It almost seems like 17 and 18 each contained one half of a “code” that unlocks extra functionality in Cell and triggers a physical transformation response. It makes you wonder if Cell would have transformed the same way if he absorbed 18 before 17. They were close enough in power that it didn’t really matter what order he absorbed them in as far as the ease of accomplishing his objective, it’s just that the half power up from one is enough to revitalize him for a fight against the other, and even makes doing so essentially trivial. This begs the question, was it always understood that Cell was going to have to fight 17 and 18 to absorb them, supporting the idea of him being a backup plan for when they go rogue, or was the original plan to just feed the two androids to him? Considering he required a ton of human energy before he was even capable of fighting one of them, it seems like the original plan was just to let him eat them while they were deactivated or something.
I remember learning of Cell before the Android saga aired and I firmly believed Android 16 would somehow become Cell. 16's green garb was just very... Cell like.
Cell: Absorbs with tail
People with vore fetish: *It's free real estate*
Cell: absorbs androids
Buu: absorbs strong characters
Moro: absorbs an Android
Zamasu: fuses with himself
FRIEZA: got stronger by transforming on his own
YEAH freeza is the only villain who got stronger on his own
@@Waqas_Khan02 yeah. And there's the GT villains:
1. BABY: absorbed Vegeta
2. SUPER 17: Fusion of two 17s
3. SYN SHENRON: becomes Omega Shenron after absorbing the Dragon Balls

More accurate: Moro EATS an android
King piccolo: becomes young
Vegeta: BREAKS HIS LIMITS!!!!!!!!!!
Red ribbon soldiers: get motivated by money
Pilaf: Mai! Shu! Get the job done!!!
I’m mad you didn’t talk about Cell’s ability to talk out his ass.
TFS?
Yes
Lol, wut?
Well of course, he’s part Vegeta
Lmao
The first I saw this...Was the creepiest thing as a kid growing up.
Same , it disturbed me and gave me a very bizzare feeling in my body.
cell has always been my favorite dbz antagonist. once he became perfect he was ruthess, cunning, and dead truthful when he talked to the z fighters. debatably he was the hardest, and most opposing threat for them to defeat. Everyone max power couldn’t defeat him. took an actual miracle. his arc towards the end really has a “oh fuck we are ACTUALLY going to die this time” vibe heavy.
*Imagine the pain fighting Cell if he absorbed Kars....*
Ultimate perfect cell, also jojo reference
Frankly it wouldn’t be that tough. Kars may look like he is immortal, but cell regen from 1 nuclear after he exploded and frankly that’s kind of immortal too. And kars can transform too adapt to the battle, but cell body was way stronger than any material/life-form originated from earth only( excluding the hybrid saiyan that is). So there’s really no benefits for cell to absorb kars
@@HuyBui-uq4oj that is true
@@HuyBui-uq4oj, cell wouldn’t gain much power, but he would gain a lot of hax abilities which would be even more deadly in cell’s hands due to enhancing them with the shitload of ki he has.
@@shwingcrimson8202 probably not.
Kars transformed to adapt to the battle, while cell had already reached his perfected form. Kars had vampire strength with hamon power, whereas cell already possess inhuman strength from the beginning, and hamon power is probably no match for ki (considering the fact that piccolo could destroyed the moon way before cell appeared)
So really, cell has no need to absorb kars since there’s really no benefit
If Cell kept training could he become as powerful as Frieza or stronger since he has limitless saiyan cells?
Golden cell with blue ki or blue cell with yellow ki
A question came to me while I was reading the manga recently: does Cell have an unseen transformation that he would've had if he absorbed Android 18 first? So are the appearance of his forms fixed or is it based on the specific Android he has absorbed?
Hard to tell what someone's else imagination might have come up with, but my inclination is to believe that the forms are fixed.
I think Semi perfect Cell is supposed to be a halfway point between Imperfect and Perfect so I don't think he would look different
17 and 18 probably complete cells genome somehow which is why after he blew himself up his dna "remembered" his completed genome.
I always love these guides, you can tell you do a lot of research on everyone❤️
Great video. This is you at your best IMO - explaining things in depth.
Doesn't Cell actually tell 18 that there's something that connects them down to their cores and that they were meant to be together? It may have just been a anime addition, but it still gives credit to your theory.
What you said instantly reminded me of the mission statement from the movie Alien and the seen where the captain who is actually a robot unbeknownst to the crew starts impregnating Ripley
One thing I've always wondered is if Androids 17 and 18s unlimited stock of energy was the key to Perfect Cell being so powerful. As Cell had to constantly absorb life energy from people in order to gain more power, which is why he needed 17 and 18 in order to fulfill that hunger for power.
When you break it down, that is an amazingly POWERFUL being. Having the Saiyan cells, he has this thirst for battle and power as you said. Which results in Cell becoming even stronger due to the Saiyan cells. Top all of this off with the unlimited energy store from Androids 17 and 18 which would explain why there was such a *MASSIVE* power jump from each of his forms. The androids unlimited energy would fill all of the Saiyan cells with power, which is kind of a scary thought. Not to mention that he had the battle knowledge of Piccolo within him as well, so he was this massively powerful, hungry and intelligent being of destruction.
He really was the 'perfect' being that he was created to be, at least in terms of being a warrior. Theoretically, had he lived, he could have become even more powerful than he was than when he and SSJ2 Gohan faught.
It makes sense that Semi-Perfect Cell was larger than Imperfect Cell, since he gained mass from 17. It doesn't make sense how Perfect Cell was smaller than Semi-Perfect Cell, despite gaining more mass. Then again, the fact that after absorbing the juices from thousands of humans didn't cause Cell to grow at all, really doesn't make sense. We know that Buu doesn't grow larger because he magically shrinks victims inside his body, but what about Cell? Cell is scientific, not magical. Maybe he has some internal compression mechanism? I sure don't know!
I guess he just Intergrated the androids at a cellular level?
@@quanesshatheseventeenth8617 He would create hundreds of tons of biowaste eventually. I don't wanna think about how he got rid of it all!
That was one thing I wondered about from time to time. If Cell needed 17 and 18 to achieve his perfect form or if he could have just by absorbing enough energy. Thanks for the video.
Great Video. One of the Most Craziest and Gruesome Techniques in DB History. I Love Cell's Absorption!!!!
Thanks! I also love it.
I wonder how many people developed fetishes after seeing this as kids lmao
I kid you not, a friend of mine legit got turned on when Cell abosrbed 18.
Yep. Not proud of it 😐
Been waiting for this for a while
Whats wrong? Frightened? Its alot, I knowwww
You feel my power and its hard to barrrrrrree
I’m re-watching the android saga and I just watch the episode where cell kills piccolo. so funny got me dying
My favorite form of Cell is his Imperfect form because it was so vile and fitting that it was so Imperfect that it is perfect!
17 and 18 had those special energy devices that granted them limitless stamina and strength, I'd imagine that would have something to do with his transformations and why it would create such a power boost. Cell would've already been the strongest anyway had it not been for the hyperbolic time chamber which surprised the crap out of him fighting Vegeta.
Loved it !
How i see it is that Dr Gero made cell “incomplete” with two “gears” missing, those “gears” being 17 & 18. I think he did this because, like you said it was a backup against 17 & 18, or maybe he couldn’t replicate their technology for whatever reason, like lack of resources. Look at him and 19, to me they feel inferior to 17 & 18, but you’d assume he’d improve the further along he went.
How I view the why Gero didn't remake the "gears" that was 17 & 18, why remake something when you can just save time and resources recycling them? Seems like a thought process he would use.
Moro eating 7-3 felt like a Kirby moment, how he eats and takes the powers and characteristics.
Great analogy man with the chubacabra!
Bro love all your content... but I had to check my calendar to see if I went back into time lol
Cell absorbing ability did scream me when I was young when he absorbed 17th.
People see Cell, Buu, Moro eat people: "WHAT THE HELL?!?"
People play Bowser's Inside Stories and Kirby: "... So anyways, I started sucking."
plus cell's design in universe, plus the fact that was the form he died in in that timeline he had traveled to, was his true self and that's a significant portion of what a soul more or less is a representation of from what i am aware, plus his transformations are almost like a metamorphosis, effectively become his true self by default once obtained, even if he regresses to prior stages/forms, kinda explains the insect esc themes
Groovy video.
ayyyy new video!!!!!
My favorite db villain
Seen a tekking 101 vid upload n now a geekdom 101 vid today , my life is good rn
geekdom's a beast
Good Video. Possible Cell's base embryo before modification was created from the Android 17 & 18, in a strange way their child. This could have caused an error in his genetic make-up which needed to be corrected by absorbing them.
I aways assumed he needed their Infinite Energy Generators but this sounds more interesting.
I still remember being surprised by Cell's first appearances back in the day; this was before the internet was as widespread as it is now, so I didn't get any leaks about the storyarc.
Ooooo now THIS is what I’m talking about 😌
I completely agree with you Geekdom! I always thought Dr. Gero created Cell as a personal Fail-Safe in case the Androids got out of hand! It's almost kind of opens the door into their past. Perhaps their Rebellion has been a past problem and could add how Gero acquired 17 and 18 as humans to begin with; perhaps forceably?
Gero commented that 17 and 18 never listened to him so it is safe to say that they had shown their rebellious side several times before we first saw them. They were kidnapped and transformed against their will.
I definitely agree with the fail safe theory.
TEEN GOHAN WILL ALWAYS BE MY FAVORITE CHARACTER IN DRAGONBALL HISTORY
Thx Danny you da best
Hey Geekdom, have you done a technique guide about the “shocking” someone back to life using Ki? Like what Goku does to Rossi in the TOP and what Piccolo tried to do when Hit killed Goku?
Honestly, the whole absorbing thing really weirded me out the first time I saw it. It’s pretty horrific!
Oneself tends to disagree
Here is an interesting what-if for you to think about. What if a creature like Cell was created using the cells of fighters from the various different universes, the kais, and the gods of Destruction by some mad scientist from one of the universes or by a Makioshin?
Would such a being actually pose a threat to not just one universe but the entire multi-verse and would it require the GoDs and Angels to fight it?
What you said is very true and it’s also one of the reasons why I think he couldn’t absorb Goku because he wasn’t a part of him now i’m thinking what if he absorbs super 17 during that episode since 17 is a part of him but that being doubled what effect would it have on his body?
i normally feel you've covered these videos perfectly... but i find this one to be imperfect. There is a distinct difference between what cell does to 17 and 18 and what he does to piccolo and all the other humans he takes ki from. WIth the later, cell stabs them and its more like he is drinking there organic material. With the former he opens up his tail and sucks up 17 and 18 whole into himself which then triggers his transformation. That he does something visually different with the two androids from what he does to the others suggests that what cell is doing is not the same technique/action that he uses with the normal humans and piccolo. Where he seems simply to be feeding on the energy of the humans giving himself small energy boosts; he seems to fully absorb the androids more like what buu does and so produces a more drastic effect close to what happens with buu but with the physical chances being very different. If it is really all the same thing, you need an explanation for the physical difference in what cell does. And if they are really 2 separate things, provide both explanations.
Another way to look at cell would be future proofing if you look at it from a technical aspect. Even if the Androids and by that I mean specifically 17 and 18 don't "age like normal humans" I say this specifically because other than GT you can't really tell that Android 18 got older in any aspect other than just a hair change because 17 prior to becoming super 17 still look the same. But the point I'm making here is if they are running on basically human genetics they will age and expire. Meanwhile something like cell could regenerate probably nearly indefinitely. Thus making him the perfect life form as he has escaped the bounds mortality at least as far as aging.
The Cell Arc is my top favorite.
He took the bones too lmao. Cell was savage asf.
Though not outwardly stated but can be clearly deduced as you continue to pick at Toriyama's brain. In prior interviews with Akira Toriyama, he mentions how he's always been a big fan of cosmic horror, body horror, sci-fi horror and surreal art and etcetera. He enjoyed and love the Xenomorph from the Alien franchise by Riddley Scott, so much so he paid "homage" to it as Frieza's second transformation of an elongated head with horns.
The second homage would be Cell's ability to absorb people with his tail or as Team Four Star would comically put it, "Cell to Piccolo: I drink people for a living." Paint it as you will, one of Cell's victims which he absorbed in front of Piccolo is direct inspiration from Clive Barker's 1987 Hellraiser. In that movie we see Frank Cotton absorbing people by jamming his fingers into the person's neck and absorbing their blood/essence so Frank Cotton can become "whole" again. His final victim who walks out into the hallway to meet Kirsty Cotton is horrified to see his face literally "melting away". So eerily the same process when Cell absorbed that man in front of Piccolo
The Buu absorption is clearly paying tribute to John Carpenter's 1982 The Thing.
So in essence, Akira Toriyama has been a fan of Riddley Scott, H.R. Giger, Clive Barker, John Carpenter and all the other Master's of Horror. And thus borrows/pays tribute in his own unique format.
Its because 17 and 18 are twins from birth and Gero started working on Cell before DBZ was ever created meaning Gero came up with this plan after Goku defeated but didnt destroy the whole Red Ribbon Army. Gotta remember he watched and collected cells from all fighters after the tournament arc and still collected once frieza came to earth but Goku killed him in the actual timeline that should have happened but Akira twisted it the way he wanted to which actually was a good idea imo because it never would have been an android arc if toriyama didnt recycle his Red Ribbon army idea in Z. Also why 17 and 18 are special to Cell is because he already had their DNA first before Gero implemented the cells of the z fighters. They were test runs to see if Gero could combine genetic material in order to create the "perfect" android he sought to defeat Goku maybe why he gave up on it and put the task on his supercomputer to complete it because he knew he was going to die before it happened therefore the idea for the android arc in DBZ. Might be a theory but to me it makes sense if you go back and piece the puzzle together
Wow the doctor really hated them kids.
Man, I'd love to see Cell make a comeback! Let the BAMF go Ultra Instinct!
My main theory is that 17 and 18 did have the components to make cell perfect, but those components were like adding more ram and better processors to your computer. So my theory on cell's massive power boosts after absorbing the androids was that he would have their power added to him and make that power 50% stronger per android due to the added components of the androids. In short
(1st form cell + 17) x 1.5
(2nd form cell + 18) x 1.5
6:09 It was stated that they were fused with Cell on a cellular level. It is probably an altered version of the Namekian fusion since he has Namekian cells.
EDIT: 6:56 I see that you did compare it to the Namekian fusion. Bulma suggested that Gero designed 17 and 18 to be absorbed by Cell. So they definitely meant to be.
The new intro is dope
I think it has to do with the Androids Infinite Stamina abilities. While Cell's power may have increased infinitely, without the Infinite Stamina, Freiza's cells burn through it too quickly.
How does the "they're in there somewhere" logic work when Cell gets blown up?
Reminds me of Venom in a way (Symbiote can shapeshift and Eddie Brock cannot, but Venom can).
It's like Cell could always transform but needed a massive outside power boost to do it which only the Androids could provide. Like how Frieza could transform but Cell needed a boost to get there and the data from 17 and 18 to "update" his Cell's programing along with the boost from the Integrated ki batteries from the Androids. If you notice his forms all resemble Frieza through his forms in a way as well. Like Piccolo he has to combine to really change and it's almost like he's a Super Saiyan as well even having the aura. He was even able to go Ssj grade 3 like Trunks. So he basically is Frieza with Super Saiyan but to power up into his "final form" he has to absorb " Namekian fuse" like Piccolo to do it but only with the Android because they had his final form software updates
I love his first and second form
I always thought him powering up from 17 & 18 was similar to Android 13 integrating components from 14 & 15. Something similar to putting a better engine in a car or something.
Gonna be excited for the buu one
I always wondered what if cell absorbed 18 first what would he look like
Hey you should do the mouth beam Canon for one of your next technique guide
7:03 Cuz cell literally reconstructs himself from inside out.
Thats a HUGE zenkai boost imo. Also infinite power battery 2x in a much more capable body.
I think geekdom101 should post a comment telling us to reply with what we think the rest of DBS or the next dragon ball series should do and what we think of Toyotora’s writing on every video
Yea his absorption was pretty creepy especially 😳of 17. I remember watching it live on toonami when I was 11 and it freaked me out... kind of similar to how inque poured herself into batman beyond and tried to smother him to death! That was freaky too!!!
I was rewatching and seen 17 fall down in cell eyes i was going ask what it like for them going down but i aint watch yet maybe you answered what i wanted answered lmao
that intro beat gave me big senzu bean energy
If say Cell was designed as his perfect form. Though at some point for whatever reason Gero ran into issues whether it be time, or energy required. About same time he was found(or already had which case they had alreadyrebelled once already) 17, and 18. So he took parts that made Cell perfect and downgraded him like say Frieza's forms for example. Transferred them to 17, and 18.
Considering humans usually range between 5 - 100 power level with most around 10, can you imagine how many people Cell had to kill to face Kamiccolo and 17 on equal footing?
If I recall (and I could be wrong) Cell stated that because of his saiyan makeup he received a zenkai boost after self destruction that pushed him so high it fueled his evolution to the point of his perfect form and beyond. Wouldn't this imply that his form of based on his power level and not who he specifically absorbs? Also, I don't believe Goku would make him change because he has nothing left to change into. His evolution was already complete.
Who else had the PERFECT song from DBAF playing in their heads?
Also, the highlight of this video is Chupacabra Cell 😂😂😂
This being is "The Perfect Cell."
"Mmm, don't you like the ring to that"?? - Perfect Cell (Dragon Ball Z Abridged)
Cell's absorption is far superior to Majin Buu's because all he needs is a few cells from a fighter and he obtains all their abilities knowledge and power. He had the potential to become the greatest warrior ever. Not sure if he could gain any of Buu's powers but he could have gained Shin's and even Beerus' and Whis' power maybe. I imagine in all reality with the cell's within him he should be able to become SSG and Golden Frieza's forms. He was the perfect being and had he not fallen to Gohan and Z fighters he could become something far greater. I can only presume that this is the reason Goku chose to bring Frieza to the final tournament and not Cell being he would be a far greater threat running around the ring taking the powers of every fighter before he killed them which have included Jiren and Kale. I doubt he could take the cells of Zeno but possible the Grand Priest who is said to be just 1 of 5 of the greatest and most powerful being ever. Still curious of who the other 4 are.
I wander if 1st form cell could still reach the same level of power as his perfect if he absorbed all the humans and Namkains
"We don't have chupacabra Cell"
Now all I can think about is how far I have to travel to get some good stewed goat.
Where can I find a complete set of dragon ball z manga not censored? Amazon has a great deal right now but after reading reviews everyone is saying it’s censored which is not a good deal in my opinion. Can you please help me out? Love your love of all Dragon ball and thank you for your on going content.
Did You notice, that Perfect Cell didnt have infinity energy? 17 and 18 has inifinity source of energy, but Cell couldnt use it after absorbtion to fight. Mayby he was using them to sustain his perfect form.
Can you please do a Technique video on Buu's Absorption and tell us the secret's
I have a question Geekdom seeing that when Vegito was absorbed by Buu, and Buu's body was a dimension of its own, doesn't that kinda make Cell's body similar with him having 17 & 18 in him or are they just kinda like left in limbo?
Can you please link the beat used at 0:43? It’s a straight banger 💥💥
I think cell absorbing 17 and 18 is also necessary because each of them carry infinite energy. I think this is key to the transformations as well as his power spike. He ALREADY carried the cells and respective techniques of the Z fighters and more, but the potential of cell couldn’t be unleashed until he possibly had the energy means to utilize it all. I feel this is pretty possible because cell is never seen to be fatigued against someone who is at least nearly as strong as him, like Goku, and the emphasis of that fight was that goku was getting tired. Because of this, I feel like cell can only be “perfect” when he has the energy means to use a body composed of the strongest cells, therefore making it possible that through his design he’d need two super batteries to do that
Hey man love you content, always interesting keep ip the great work, Idk if you ever talked about it specifically, I was wondering how true and if so why were the androids and theoretically cell from our timeline stronger than their counterparts from the future, and is that even a true fact or just that one line trunks said. I was thinking because of trunks killing frieza and king cold causing their blood to be obtained by dr g hence making cell stronger. But goku would have killed them anyway and that wouldn’t explain the androids. Always wondered about it. Your thoughts?
I think that Dr.g probably got frieza's blood from that encounter in the ti.eline he came from. Just cell was stronger in the main timeline because different things happened. Cell going against ssj2 instead of weak ssj trunks. Goku didn't die of the heart virus and got to fight Dr. g. The Dr. G in the main timeline was shown to only have the DNA for everyone who came to earth. But in the other frieza was defeated by vegita, and goku which means Dr.g would have more samples. Also in the main timeline he never got blood from freiza
The androids and theoretically Cell were stronger in our timeline because Trunks appeared and not Goku. Dr. Gero specifically made them to get revenge on Goku, but Trunks being there and overpowering Freeza so quickly caused Gero to keep Androids 17 and 18 in storage, and the surveillance fly was still around to watch more fighters. That's why Androids 19 and 20 were the ones to terrorize the city instead of 17 and 18 in this timeline, which Trunks notes as a change. Gero decided they were still in progress and thus Cell needed to improve. That issue didn't exist in Trunks's timeline because Goku died of the heart virus so they didn't need to be that powerful, just enough to beat the remaining fighters.
