@Rajesh K.N : This might be due to format support issue. Usually sony bdp supports LPCM wav format. Check the user manual of your player to see what kind of formats your player supports. Sometimes, eventhough players don't support the format, player will play it but it breaks the audio/video.
Connect to what? Connecting to TV is so simple. Connect the player with TV via HDMI cable. Switch on the TV and player. Select the connected HDMI input. That's it.
