- While winter has settled in for most of the country, it’s time to head deep south on the motorcycles for warmer pastures. Today we’re bound for McLean, Arizona and the Whitewater Draw Wildlife Refuge, which comes complete with free camping and 10,000+ of the noisiest birds around.
But we don’t mind in the least - it’s warm(er) and who can complain when you’re riding a motorcycle.

I am 60 the wife is ... well we won’t say... but we tent camped all the time when young. We both are just amazed at how you two do it. Now you have the camper. That is awesome. We love the videos and wish you both the best. If you’re ever around north central MO you got a place to stay. Take care. Ride safe.
So sorry for your loss Chris. I lost both my parents while I was in my late 60s....It is a blessing in life when your parents become your friends and I enjoyed that for many, many years. Hope you had the same experience. The memories get more precious daily. Travel safe and keep reminding Rich, absolutely no tailgating of the cars or trucks ahead! Stay safe.

First off I’m sorry for your loss Chris. I’ve watched all of y’all travels from the beginning. Richard, Chris is one heck of a wife. Which I’m sure you realize many years ago. But for a wife to give up her home and travel as you two do, is amazing. She’s a keeper. Most women I’ve known think that staying in a hotel is roughing it. Ride safe and have fun.

Sorry about your mom. My mom passed last year. I live in Michigan. I love riding my bike. Been fowling your videos of towing a trailer and want to get one for my motorcycle. I have road to the U.P. of Michigan on several occasions. And it would be easier to put everything in the trailer then strapping it all down on the bike.
I envy your adventurous spirit guys! My wife and I belonged for many years to the GoldWing Road Riders Association (GWRRA) and traveled many miles pulling a Bushtec trailer! Matching Honda Yellow bike and trailer! Lots of interesting places and experiences. However, we weren’t brave enough to do it full time like you guys. Travel safe!
I know this is old but wanted to share my experience in NM and AZ . the best place to get good drinking water is at supermarkets. They have machines that filter and fill your jugs cheaper than gallons or whatever. Safe to drink and reliable. Many who live there use these as well.

I installed electric brakes on our trailer, which we pulled behind a Goldwing. I wired the brakes in series. It worked very well.

A good tip for freezing foods, freeze them as flat as possible, they will pack better in an esky, and when it’s time to defrost they will thaw a bit quicker

There ya go, now you are above ground living higher, LOL, still a tent, but a much more pleasant unit simply because it is off the ground and will be better when the rain comes. I like it

Holy Christmas, 61 mpg on that BMW K1200, what a machine. Love that pull camper, beats tent camping every time. My opinion, that K1200 would be a much better machine to pull that camper.

I second Darryl's comment. I too am sorry for your loss. Mom must have been a great woman for both you, Chris, and Mom's son-in-law, Richard to drop what you were doing and travel to her bedside. As Darryl said, the good woman ("one heck of a wife") certainly reflects the good mother who instilled such goodness and values in your life, Chris. May that new saintly woman in Heaven put in a good word to the Lord for your health and safety in your travels.

Yep that Harley Davidson Road Glide makes the perfect trailer bowling motorcycle we call it the RV. We went to Alaska all the way to Prudhoe Bay 35 days on the road it was an incredible trip pulled the trailer up and back no problems wonderful Adventure
Great to hear. We call Ms Alice the Truck The only issues we ha e had are from the dealerships. I found only one that is worthy and that’s Thunderbird Harley Davidson in Albuquerque NM.
Sorry for your loss Chris. My mom passed away this last December. Her health was failing, alztimers and dementia. Complications of Covid-19 didn't help. Glad to see your videos again. Stay safe and healthy you two.

First.... Sorry about your loss Chris. Next... I noticed a new tire on the BMW. Whoever installed it forgot to take the info sticker off the tire before installation. If a shop did this they
should be drawn-and-quartered!! The first time you hit your front brake while in a turn and you just happen to be on that sticker... well you could be on your side before you know it!
Hellothis is my first video I watched .I love motorcycling also I've been looking into a bunk style trailer to travel with and save money from hotels ..my wife doesn't ride her own bike but maybe in the future it would help with us being able to carry more camping supplies....I love being able r to really enjoy the wildlife that goes along with camping where the end of the day takes you..

Sorry for your loss. My device to you go on the dark side, car tire on the rear wheel of your bike if you are towing, motorcycle tire won’t last longer then 5k miles and it may blow up or crack in the grove and that will cause air leaks even if the tire still new, I went through all that and ended up doing, car tire last much longer and I use run flat tire.

Chris and Rich I noticed that you used a Lodge cast iron skillet. The next time you come to Tennessee make a point to visit the Lodge Outlet store in South Pittsburg, TN. You can find anything you want in the way of cast iron. Also check out the right hand wall as you go in the door. This area has all the seconds in it. It may have a blemish or slag that didn’t get off before it cooled. But it doesn’t effect the use at all. And you can get those items at 50% off most of the time. Just north of interstate 24 in Jasper, TN is the old city cemetery where people from the American Revolution and Civil War are buried. I’d love to show you around Chattanooga sometime.

Awesome Video !!! I just traded my 22 Pan America Special in for a 22 Road Glide Limited.
I rode across a bunch of states and tent camped off of my Pan America, but was blown all over the road during high winds, whereas Road Glides were passing me all the time, with seemingly no problems cutting through crazy side winds.
So, now that I have the Road Glide Limited and Love to Travel, and always pack so much, I am thinking that I should get a pull behind like what y’all have. 👍👍

Sorry to hear about your Mom. I've been helping my sister takie care of my Mom who is now 90 years old. Looking forward to your videos with the bunkhouse.. I am just starting on my bike adventures once the weather wams up on east coast. I'll be tenting it. But I like all the info you provide so I can avoid making too many newby mistakes.
