Yes, man...it's a big help AND an inspiration...I've been listening to this great tune for almost 50 years...never thought I'd be this close to playing it in such an authentic arrangement. I've got some work to do...but you're given me a great gift. Can't thank you enough
This for three lessons my man !!!😊

Great lesson. Great teacher.
Hey I seen you play a song about a yr ago, never found another from u in long time. Ur pretty good especially ur age ..lol. Now I know ur site thanks 👍
There was something very inspiring about the soloing tips in the second part of this lesson. Sort of use the pentatonic shape as a guide but concentrate on what the singer would sing or the melody, in other words.
Thanks John!
Thanks Rod! I recommend Jon's course. You can check it out here.

Well done!
Nice soloing idea and licks. Little Walter popularized the song for electric blues.
Lol
Lol baby
Lmao
I am a beginner. And..., I am a bit lost when you introduce your solo segment on the 5th fret in the key of A with what I understand to be the Am pentatonic scale? You then immediately start playing on the 9th, 11th, and 12th frets? Is this an additional scale pattern in the key of A? I do not know it. 🤔. Thanks!
Hey Todd… In blues it is common to mix minor and major pentatonic scales, that's like the signature of blues. I suggest you check out more lessons about that in our channel, we have hundreds… like this one czcams.com/video/MMT04iFw_q8/video.html
Hope that helps! Rock on.
I'm just getting into blues lead guitar and this is a great song. I can't follow the lead lines just watching the video - so I went to the "tab". The tab was a simple blues shuffle in A. Where is the tab for the lead?? Is the full tab for every video only available on DVDs I have to purchase? Help!
Hi David. If you are getting into the blues you should check out Jon's blues course.

I would like an answer to my question: Is the Complete tab for every video only available on DVD's I have to purchase? I would like to see some videos with free tabs to determine if they are worthwhile to later purchase other songs on DVD. Thanks.
John, share some originals you have. !
A better view of the fretboard would be helpful
backing track pleaeeeeese
desde ARGENTINA, mil gracias lo estoy disfrutando mucho !! te espero con asado Argentino cuando quieras jaaa como agradecemiento
I hit on free tabs and can't get anything
Ha ha, name ANOTHER 8 bar blues! Can anyone?
Yes. How Long Blues.
Crow Jane
Sitting on top of the world.
St James Infirmary Blues
Dude, admit you picket cotton in Mississippi :) LOL
Why not mention the guy who wrote the bloody song? Big bill broonzy was much more talented than clapton or king.
I believe Charles Seagar also has writing credits
@stringbenderE2E Try putting it in the title where people can actually see it.
You talk to much, & you need to listen to little Walter style, quit talking so much practice
that solo is great but the link below for the FREE tabs does not work any more.
