Thomas & The Fat Controller’s Railway
Stories:
Percy & The Wolf:
Percy is sent to take some trucks of fresh fruit and vegetables to market until he stops in a forest. In the corner of the forest is a gray wolf. Percy was frightened by the wolf and decided to carry on. Percy told Thomas and the other engines about the wolf but no one thinks it’s true. One night, Percy was shunting some trucks into a siding until he saw the wolf again and Percy ran away. Thomas came and realize it was just friendly and not fearsome.
Center Of Attention:
Thomas wants to be the star attraction but things go wrong when a sleek Diesel engine known as D4928 wants to be the favorite. Thomas shows him by being useful and as a result, Sir Topham Hatt sends him away and Thomas becomes the main attraction.
Old & Reliable:
The engines here Thomas and Edwards stories of how they first arrived. Thomas thinks Edward is still useful and tries to prove it until Edward ends up on an overgrown track meeting an old red tank engine named Luoc. Luoc was old friends with Edward when he was really young and originally belonged to Sir Topham Hatt’s father.
The Fat Controllers Railway:
Sir Topham Hatt is planning a family reunion and the engines are planning. When Percy is chosen he ends up covered in mud. Thomas is chosen instead and becomes the star of the railway for Sir Topham Hatt’s renunion.
Trivia:
D4928 is based on a BR Class 45 Diesel engine
Luoc is based on a GWR 517 class
References to Edward & Gordon and Thomas & Gordon are made in Old & Reliable.
Luoc is also the original number 6 before Percy.
A reference to Percy Runs Away is made in Percy & The Wolf.
