Well, yeah. Lost their starting QB early to season-ending injury. Lost 2nd stringer, who had a host of victories, mid-season to season-ending injury. Lost third-stringer, who had a host of victories, in conference final to season-ending injury. Then lost 4th stringer in conference final to season-ending injury. I'd say that's a bad run injury-wise.
As a Cowboys fan it was sad to see Purdy go out like that. I hope he can make a recovery and come back. As much as I want my team to win I never want to see someone get hurt.

I think this should be shown to school children. Very inspiring in terms of how to face adversity and to lose without feeling bitter and sore. George Kittle was just not phased from beginning to end and Fred Warner takes us through the emotions of the game and then hugs it out with his bros. This was awesome!

100% agree. Football fans everywhere got robbed of what should have been an epic matchup. It was a rug pull on the Niners, but also the NFL fans. It just felt wrong. it was an empty win.
I didn't have a horse in the race either but the fact that it took the referees to call three or four penalties in a row on 9ers defense to bring the eagles down field and into scoring position. Showed me , they had the ability to beat them without a quarterback. Had the long ball setting up the 1st eagle TD been challenged it would have been ruled incomplete ,the third touchdown for the eagles the referees brought that ball down the field. The last TD the referees called unnecessary roughness when Hurt was hit to knock him out of bounds. Of course Hurt is athletic enough to walk a tight rope down the side line to run it in . Then when they do run that last one in , The safety for the 49ers was being held stopping him from coming up to make the play stopping the TD. No I didn't care who won but it seemed to me without the help of the referees that was a very close game, They hyped it up after the game that the eagles dominated the 49ers that's not what I saw. Of course I'm not a football fanatic or critic but I believe both games were rigged by the officials to create the super bowl set up. Now you have the Eagles playing against a team with a hobbling Quarterback. Thought i would watch last week's match up as really good games but they were both undoubtedly being over officiated for a predetermined outcome.

This was so sad. I firmly believe it would have been an exciting game otherwise. McCaffery's touchdown reminded me of 'Old School' NFL Football. (70's-80's-90's) It was a beauty to behold. Even though I had no dog in this fight I am now rooting for Kansas City. However the Superbowl plays out I truly hope it is an exciting game.

I pretty much never post but this 49er team deserves every bit of respect for the heart & soul they have put into this season. Been a fan for abt 25 yrs eventhough I'm from around Dallas,TX. I swear this game was like a really bad breakup..I cried, got sick, thought abt it before I went to sleep and the first thing on my mind whn I woke up for like 4 or 5 days..lol..Its one thing to get beat by being outplayed buts it's another when the team has overcome so many obstacles and worked so hard to get here and this is how the season ends..Just like everyone else I have my favorites tht I love to watch every week, but it took the dedication and skill set of the entire team to get us to this point. Biggest takeaway from this game? We have great leadership coming from Kittle & Warner. The looks on their faces said it all. But didn't let it get them down and worked hard to keep the team motivated. Both of them should be first Ballot HOF one day.

Literally everything that could go wrong did go wrong in this game. Not many teams reach that point with 3rd string QB but then to lose your backups and having to adjust AND keep that dawg on you?! Crazy. Mad respect for everyone on the field that day and for Purdy trying to keep throwing.
Well, yeah. Lost their starting QB early to season-ending injury. Lost 2nd stringer, who had a host of victories, mid-season to season-ending injury. Lost third-stringer, who had a host of victories, in conference final to season-ending injury. Then lost 4th stringer in conference final to season-ending injury. I'd say that's a bad run injury-wise.
As a Cowboys fan it was sad to see Purdy go out like that. I hope he can make a recovery and come back. As much as I want my team to win I never want to see someone get hurt.

I didn't have a horse in the race either but the fact that it took the referees to call three or four penalties in a row on 9ers defense to bring the eagles down field and into scoring position. Showed me , they had the ability to beat them without a quarterback. Had the long ball setting up the 1st eagle TD been challenged it would have been ruled incomplete ,the third touchdown for the eagles the referees brought that ball down the field. The last TD the referees called unnecessary roughness when Hurt was hit to knock him out of bounds. Of course Hurt is athletic enough to walk a tight rope down the side line to run it in . Then when they do run that last one in , The safety for the 49ers was being held stopping him from coming up to make the play stopping the TD. No I didn't care who won but it seemed to me without the help of the referees that was a very close game, They hyped it up after the game that the eagles dominated the 49ers that's not what I saw. Of course I'm not a football fanatic or critic but I believe both games were rigged by the officials to create the super bowl set up. Now you have the Eagles playing against a team with a hobbling Quarterback. Thought i would watch last week's match up as really good games but they were both undoubtedly being over officiated for a predetermined outcome.

Coming back to watch this after the way the 49ers season has started makes you understand how badly they want it. As an Eagles fan I say "Bring it on". We will see you in the playoffs. Hopefully at the Championship game so we can settle this straight up!
I pretty much never post but this 49er team deserves every bit of respect for the heart & soul they have put into this season. Been a fan for abt 25 yrs eventhough I'm from around Dallas,TX. I swear this game was like a really bad breakup..I cried, got sick, thought abt it before I went to sleep and the first thing on my mind whn I woke up for like 4 or 5 days..lol..Its one thing to get beat by being outplayed buts it's another when the team has overcome so many obstacles and worked so hard to get here and this is how the season ends..Just like everyone else I have my favorites tht I love to watch every week, but it took the dedication and skill set of the entire team to get us to this point. So a huge shout out and a bigger Thank You for making this year special to watch. Much love and can't wait to see wht 2023 holds!!

Yeah. Someone got paid that day. 3 4th downs that led to TDs. Our Defense was Monster. Held the hyped Hurts to 121 Yards. That si clouding the 29 yrd catch that wasn't a catch. So really he threw for less than 100 yards. Think about that for a second...then ask urself....did the refs affect the game? Hell yeah they did.

Biggest takeaway from this game? We have great leadership coming from Kittle & Warner. The looks on their faces said it all. But didn't let it get them down and worked hard to keep the team motivated. Both of them should be first Ballot HOF one day.
