Gear does matter to me but not in the sense of everyone on the internet. For me It's more ergonomic (obviously you look at glass quality too) ability and ease of use. I have a ricoh GR III and love it to bits, its small compact and powerful... Now I want a GR 1 so I can get back to film, I haven't shot much of it since lockdown.
