Being from a tier-3 college myself, I always thought that my only way is to get hired by a mass recruiting company and change jobs every 2 years and after 5-7 years I will be settled for a good enough salary. But since the past 6 months my mindset has totally changed. I can do it better than FAANG and I will freakin' achieve it! 👽

Even after clearing Interviews and technical rounds the last thing I got to hear is We don't hire college going students for Internships as well as jobs 🙂

The day I started listening to you was the best decision I ever made for myself instead of listening to influencers who advise anything just for some views and money. Thanks a lot, Kunal. Big respect for you.
I have been trying all the different field. Suffered heavily during UI/UX days, absolutely hated CSS, writing backend went excellent but it didn't gave me the kick I needed on my job. Finally found it while learning Docker and Kubernetes. I love looking into different architectures, try to understand why they did that. Microservices are my absolute favourite but I'd also spent some quality time on Serverless. I don't think DevOps is a field, it is more like a religion to me, and we devops guys are worshippers. Hail Lord Kubernetes :)

Guys, If any org isn't interested in hiring a fresher, ignore them. Keep on looking for someone who is interested. Do not waster your time and energy applying somewhere you aren't valued.

Yes, we have the graduates hired as a devops engg in our organization, it's just a field. If freshers can be hired as a developer and tester then why not as a devops :)

Difference is that unlike Dev and Ops, knowing "DevOps tools" will not make someone a DevOps Engineer. The designation DevOps engineer itself is dangerous.

Dear Kunal, I am almost graduate of PG Devops by Edureka, by Purdue. I am mostly looking work in Baltics part of Europe, but here most of companies do not consider Devops as junior role at all, this is someone who is strong developer or sys admin and pursue his career as Devops. Therefore they expect a lot of experience (2-3 years or more). We have some bootcamps like Accenture, but they are super competitive even to get there and pass it to get internship. What your advice would be to apply, or even remotely without actual experience, but my theory is quite good. Really appreciate your advice, my career is a change as i have previous business and tech support background.

Do Companies Hire Dev-ops Freshers Ans is Yes . To freshers first try to get a job as developer, if programming is not found interesting for you then try for others like ML,Dev-ops,Testing whatever maybe. All power in a company is for Developers they write code that used by billions people. They are the game changers. Dev-ops job is not challenging you will get bored after some period of time. There is no disrespect to others but this is the truth. Now choice is yours.
I am in devops project with 2 year gap and no experience. Just learn skills and do hands on it. Everyone with right Skill can get a job. Company is paying low but learning is more here

what about those who dont have IT background? like accounting? What they need to do different to get into devops?
It's possible but but but still it's hard and challenging to get job as fresher than other roll in IT field, if you have lot of time to explore devops then devops is not suitable for fresher. It's harsh truth, because if you have not good knowledge and handson experiences in networking, cloud infrastructure , tools then company will not hire you, no company want their million of user of their server will handle by freshers it's risky, I am not demotivating the devops aspirant, I am also devops aspirant which I have faced my leaning journey
