That 50,000ths "gauge" is a shim they use for lining up industrial pumps and motors. LOL!

  • @BRADASSOFFGRIDHOMESTEAD

We use those shims when we align generators in wind turbines.

John, you ain't seen nothing yet until you use the new short action customs Infinity aps inline seating die. Blows this one away and is so superbly designed fit and finish. Trust me, I've had it for about a month testing it and I think they are available now.

Really cool, out of my price range, but very cool. Thanks for showing it!

I've been using the Sinclair Micro-Adjust Seater and winning matches for years now. Many will try to imitate, however they'll never make a better seater die.

I use shims, put some in or take some out.

  • @jesusisalive3227

Have you ever tried using shim washers with your seating die?

Well, I'm extremely surprised by your video because you say you have used almost everything on the market. Where is the L.E. Wilson micrometer seater? (Which is different than the one you are showing) I'm using them for years now, they are known from about everyone in the precision shooting community and it can't be faster to adjust, very wide range of adjustment, no tools are required to do so and super precise, plus you can change the seating steam for the type bullets or make custom one. They are not expensive and easily available.
