  • Festool gave me the ExoActive exoskeleton to try it out and make some videos about it! The ExoActive is an exoskeleton which gives you extra strength when working overhead and with your arms. This device is perfect for woodworkers, construction workers, painters, and in this video I give you a first look at the Festool ExoActive so you can decide if you would like to buy it!
This video is a complete beginners guide to setting up and operating the Festool ExoActive!

Age 68. Two years ago, I started doing a few deep pressups on the hour, most hours. Since then, I've been able to work overhead all day, turn to look backwards on bicycle like when I was younger, etc. Swinging kettle weights up to 16kg about 50 swings from one hand to the other plus sone symmetrical 2-handed lifting above head gives me all the strength and flexibility I need. Helps my walking gait. At my age doing relatively heavy DIY jobs, this tool is not for my wallet. Looks fun though

Have you tried it on? When working over your head it’s quite convenient and really supports your arms…👍

@@FennahMakes Yes I have tried it in combination with the Planex. Its not feeling comfortable (natural)and the 5kg lighter is not worth the price. Not many people will gonna buy this in Holland.

I think the cordless drill is just for adding more screws in less time. There's still strength involved in carrying the lumber etc. But I agree that not everything should replace the human body.
