Steve deserved the standing ovation in the beginning! I would've been jumping up and down all happy like & this makes me so happy! Blue's Clues is and always will be a huge part of my childhood & as a young adult, I still love the show!❤ Thanks for uploading this!
Funnily enough, to "replace" Steve, Nick found exactly that, some tall, "conventionally attractive" dude who spoke way too enthusiastically like a Game Show Host and that backfired TERRIBLY lmao Not like they would strike gold twice and be lucky enough to find another Steve either way....
@@franciyls Bro, Steve helped choose Donovan Patton as his replacement and trained him for two years before he left. Joe was a good host, what made the show go downhill was the amount of unnecessary changes.
My daughter was born in 1995 & my son was born in 2000. Steve is a total MOOD. A happy, Innocent memory. He's woven into the fabric of our family memory. When Steve went "off to college" I remember crying along with my kids during that episode. My daughter was also then WAAAY past her blues clues years. Great memories.
I was born in 1993 and my brother in 1998. He had a whole Blue’s Clues design in his side of the room including a kid-sized red chair. Even though, like your daughter, I was way past my Blue’s Clues days, I was so sad to see Steve leave. 30-year-old me is still so happy to see him again now that I just found this video. I just want to thank you also for being such an obviously amazing mother to your children. They must be amazing adults now xx
Steve to me is the equivalent to Betty White So loved by the community an Icon and a Legend!!!!! He definitely isn’t gonna be forgotten….. he’s a staple in everyone childhood
@@edgythrone3030 Stop bragging, I get it, you met one of my childhood heroes! 😜🤣❤️ No, wait... What would Steve think of me posting a message like this? I'm happy that you got to meet him 😊
I'm not ashamed to admit that I still binge watch the show on a regular basis, while skipping over all the episodes that have talking clues and Blue's Room.
I absolutely love who Steve is today. He totally understands how to reach us as adults, just as he once did when we were 20 years younger. He talks to us now as if we're kids that have grown up. It's kind of beautiful.
Whats funny is that Steve means more to me than my sons. They barely remember him - but I vividly remember him because I watched every episode with my sons! WE LOVE STEVE!!!!!!!!!!
I loved it on the Blues clues episode when Steve tried to skidoo out of the bakery, and tripped on the sock almost losing his balance. Still makes me laugh to this day!
asking others for help was something i've always struggled with, it could be things as small as not remembering what the instructions were or something as big as depression. to hear that it's ok to ask for help from him is something i didn't know i needed to hear ;-;
It seems to me to be a little bit far fetched that the 3rd episode ever filmed for the series was What Story Does Blue Want To Play if that was the episode Steve was referring to especially when he said he wore the big bad wolf’s ears on his head. That episode didn’t premiere til much later and Steve’s hair was a little bit shorter. But anyway I loved how Steve enjoyed that highlight of the episode! 😊
@@andieallison6792 yes that is highly possible. Those clapper objects that display the name of the episode and the date being filmed would be good evidence to find to determine when the different segments of the episodes were filmed. Worse case scenario I’m sure at some point in eternity I can always ask God which episode scenes of Steve were filmed from beginning to end. ☺️

39:40 I love hearing how to kids went crazy for his audition
When he said Hi out there it’s me Steve childhood punched me in the gut 😍 💚
Steve is a gift to us all!💚
I hope he's a Christian, and a conservative one at that, cuz that would make me so happy. ✝️
"Nickelodeon didn't want to cast me, because they wanted someone "conventionally handsome" Man even Nickelodeon were jerks back then too!!

Blue's Big Musical is a masterpiece!

I was a little older when I heard about blues clues, so it wasn't my childhood. With that being said, I can appreciate the joy he's brought to people.
Steve is kinda the Mr. Rogers of the 2000's.💙
I say The Fred Rogers of the 2000s
Man I love blues clues as a kid Steve was my best friend. It’s like he always say we can do anything that we want to do

I want them to make a blooper episode of blue clues
That whole show is a blooper lol
@@GLBizzie no I want to see how many takes they had to do
It would be awkward if it was just Steve swearing and smoking cigarettes.

I've been waiting for this. I couldn't attend as I was doing cosplay things for the con. Thanks thanks thanks for posting.
I catch these so you don't have to worry about missing out if you have other important things to do at the con. Glad you could catch it here!
Steve is the man! Love him! My son watched him beginning at 6 months old, and he's now 27 years old. I grew to love him too!

Now this, Blue's clues was an important show I watch back on NOGGIN. Steve does have to admit his adventures around his currier.

He could've had a haircut?
But shows that are filmed aren't necessarily aired in the same order. It's like that for a lot of TV shows.
