Does this work only on 268's with air brakes? My company just bought me a new one to replace my 06 International Prostar. But it's got hydraulic brakes. Wonder if this feature works.
Just got a 2020 Hino and the cruise control idle trick doesn't work any longer. HOWEVER, I DON'T KNOW WHAT I DID, BUT I WAS ABLE TO BYPASS THE IDLE SHUTOFF TWICE!!! TRUCK IDLED FOR 20 MINUTES!!! All I did was come to a complete stop, keep my foot on the service brake, drop it in neutral and set the airbrake, then release the service brake! Any help is greatly appreciated!!! Couldn't get it to bypass idle again!
Question what is the purpose of this feature also my truck only idles for an hour then shuts off is this related to this video also what's the recommended idle it should be at when parked for the night

This worked for my 2015 268, great for spraying my intake cleaner with a recommended idle of 2000rpm
