That was amazing, I of course know Marco's big hit as it's a classic and he often makes grande live performances of his songs. The choir was great. Marcel from Di-rect is a true artist, he knows his voice, he knows he can't do the same things Marco does but he weaves around him is a beautiful pattern of harmony and complexity. Made it feel like I was watching a version from the Passion with all the religious imagery. The result is that both singers get their due in this number. Which really isn't always the case when a new singer joins the original one for a big hit and I think this worked due to Marcel being so talented at arranging too.

Marcel is the singer of the band DiRect. You might like them too.
What you should try to look out for is De Vrienden van Amstel live (Friends of Amstel (beer brand)). It's a big concert (last year 12 nights in a row) with loads of Dutch artists from all genres performing together and singing their own and each others songs.
One song that always comes by is Iedereen is van de Wereld (Everyone belongs to the World) original by a band called The Scene, whose singer Thé Lau sang it at this show shortly before hé died of cancer. If you can find a subtitled version of this song I am sure you'll love it.

The song from only Marco during his concert in 2005 in Antwerpen, was emotional for me. A little year before my dad passed away and even 1 day after his death the girlfriend that i had at that moment, broke up with me suddenly. And also a other song from Marco is very emotional. (Waarom nou jij) (why just you)
